Day 1: Kota Kinabalu Airport Pick-up, Brief Urban Driving Tour
The Real Local Market in Malaysia

Welcome to Malaysia! Upon arrival, your passionate local driver guide will greet you at the arrival hall, escort you to the hotel downtown, and give you a brief city tour en route, with photo stops available anytime.

This 16-day private Malaysia honeymoon package will take you deep into the mysterious Borneo in eastern Malaysia, where you and your beloved could hike in the pristine tropical rainforest, be amazed by unique tropical flora and fauna, such as the Rafflesia, mouse-deer, and Borneo pygmy elephants. You will also experience cultural fusion, taste authentic food, and have a “purrfect” trip to the cat city of Kuching! Finally, enjoy free time on Manukan Island, soaking up in the vast white sandy beachfront and crystal-clear sea.

► Tips for Packing
Since our journey includes multiple bushwalks and river cruises, it is recommended that you bring high-concentration mosquito repellent, sunscreen, long-sleeved trousers, leech socks, wellies, binoculars, about four sets of quick-drying clothes, raincoats, etc., some of which can also be rented from hotels in the rainforest.

► Money Tips in Malaysia
If you need to rent items or buy souvenirs in the rainforest resorts, Malaysian Ringgit in cash is necessary. You can exchange currency at the airport ATM or money exchangers but at a less cost-effective exchange rate. Alternatively, ask your driver guide to recommend a qualified urban exchange office. Since we will travel to many cities, you’d better exchange a small amount of currency multiple times as needed. Moreover, for financial security, please be cautious of money exchange online or with strangers to avoid high exchange rate scams.
