Day 1: Arrival in Yerevan, Yerevan Walking Tour
Welcome to Yerevan! Yerevan, located on the bank of Hrazdan River, is not only the capital of Armenia but also a famous historical city. Upon arrival, your driver will pick you up from the airport on time and escort you to the well-selected hotel. After a short rest, your guide will accompany you to have a short walking tour along the street and in the plazas and parks to feel the charm of this city.

Day 2: Full-day Visit with Lake Sevan
After breakfast, we will head to Lake Sevan. Crossing the thick forest along the highway, we will arrive the lake known as “the tear of Caucasus”. The crystal lake is surrounded by mountains, and on its banks, there are several ancient monasteries. The most famous one is Sevanavank Monastery, built in the 9th century. This monastery suffered a lot in the numerous warfare, but was luckily maintained. Leaving the picturesque Lake Sevan, we will continue our trip to the hot spring town - Dilijan, where you will have today’s lunch and take a Gata making master class. Gata is an Armenia traditional dessert made by flower, butter and cream. Its crust is golden and crispy while the inside soft and fluffy. In this class, you could enjoy the Gata made by yourself.

In the afternoon, your will be guided to visit Haghartsin Monastery, also called Agartsin Monastery, which means the “soaring eagle”. The images of eagles can be often seen on the walls of churches. Goshavank Monastery is also well-known in Dilijan. This monastery was built in the 12-13th century and used to be the spiritual and cultural center of Armenia. Finally, after relaxing yourself at the Lake Parz, this 9-10 hours tour will come to an end. Your guide and driver will send you back to your hotel.

Day 3: Tatev Monastery Exploration
Today’s tour will take around 12-13 hours. We will depart at around 8:30 to visit the only two-floor ancient monastery in Armenia - Noravank Monastery. Then go to the Tatev Monastery, which is today’s highlight. You will take “Wings of Tatev” Ropeway from the mountain foot and upon at the top, you will get a panorama of Caucasus Mountains and the villages. The next stop will be Hin Areni Wine factory. You will learn how to make wine and taste it. After the tour, we will arrive hotel at around 21:00.

Day 4: Half-day Sightseeing with Zvartnots Temple
Today, we will first head to St. Hripsime and St. Gayane Churches. St. Hripsime is the most important Saintes after Virgin Mary. The church was built in honor of her upon her grave. Next, we will go to Mother Cathedral of Holy Echmiadzin, the first church built in Armenia. Today’s visit will conclude with Zvartnots Temple, an architectural monument in the 7th century. It is not only one of the oldest and largest churches in Armenia, but also has an enduring influence to the architecture afterwards. After the tour, we will send you back to your hotel. The afternoon will be free on your own.

Day 05: Gyumri Exploration
In the morning, we will drive to the second largest city in Armenia, Gyumri. As a top tourist city, Gyumri has lots of well-preserved antique buildings. The most eye-catching one is Urban Life (Dzitoghtsyan) Museum built of red and black bricks. Just as its name suggests, the exhibits of local daily life and culture are presented here. Then we will have a stop at Black Fortress. Finally, a visit to Harichavank Monastery will draw a conclusion to today’s trip. After that, you will be transferred back to the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 6: Visit Garni Temple
Today’s highlight is Garni Temple, which is the only Greek ruin in Armenia, representing the civilization before Christianity became the state religion. Then move forward to Geghard Monastery, which was carved out from the cliff and is the best preserved ruins of Armenia in Medieval time. At last, visit Garni Canyon “Symphony of stones”.

Day 7: Departure from Yerevan
