Day 1: Arrival in Bali, Airport Pick-up to Seminyak
Welcome to Bali, an island resort that is not to be missed in all Indonesian private tour packages! Your driver and personal assistant will pick you up from Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport upon your arrival and transfer you to the hotel in Seminyak by a 30-minute drive. The rest of the day will be free for you to adjust to jet lag or enjoy some leisure time on the beach.
► Recommendations for Early Arrival It is just a 2-minute walk from your hotel to Double Six Beach, where you could chill out or take a leisurely stroll on your own. Along the beach there are lots of choices for dinner. La Plancha offers a great view for diners to admire the sunset dropping into the sea. Sit on a bean bag chair by the beach, enjoy some tapas and pizza with live music. The cost per person is about USD 12.
► Tips on Money Exchanging Try to avoid exchanging money at the airport or other touristy places, since the exchange rates might be bad. After checking in at the hotel, you can walk to Kodak Shop - Authorized Money Changer or other Authorized Money Changers which are reliable and safe to exchange some money. Generally, ATMs in Indonesia provide cash withdrawals without handling fees.
► Taxi-hailing in Indonesia It’s convenient to get a taxi service at a taxi stand or via mobile apps in Indonesia. You could book a taxi or a motorcycle through Blue Bird, Grab or Gojek. You could know the cost before your ride and pay in-app.
► Best Time to Visit The best time to visit Bali and the nearby islands is the dry season, which is from April to October every year. During the dry season, the weather and temperature are generally pleasant with little chance of rain, and the beaches are cleaner and prettier than in the rainy season.

Walk down some narrow steps to reach this secluded beach. Sunbathe, take in the verdant surroundings, or enjoy the cool breeze in the shade of the rock or cliffs. If you have interests, you could go surfing here at your own expense. Next, you’ll be led to Uluwatu Temple, which is an 11th-century Balinese Hindu temple built atop a soaring seaside cliff, offering a remarkable vista of the Indian Ocean. According to the local legend, two lovers jumped from the cliff and died for love because they could not be together. Appreciate the splendid sea view and listen to the sound of the waves flapping the rocky cliff. Around sunset, let’s enjoy the traditional Kecak Dance performed at the open-air stage of the temple, which tells the story of Ramayana and features dozens of performers and unique chants.
