Grand Chile Exploration

As the wine of the country is very well known, we are going to visit Maipo Valley today, the center of Chile's wine industry. Perez Cruz and Santa Rita are the most famous wineries in the valley that we won't miss on our Chile vacation packages. Driving for about 55 minutes, we will get to Perez Cruz first. At the two places, we'll learn the brewing process of wine, visit the vast vineyard, and sip a little wine. We'll see some relics from the age of Columbus in a museum at Santa Rita. Then go for lunch as well as enjoy authentic wine at Santa Rita. Afternoon, we'll go on our brewing visit and wine-tasting to Cousiño Macul - the local brewery. After that, you'll be escorted to the hotel for 1 hour.

We will head to Valparaiso with 1.5 hours' drive. It's a town full of colorful houses and incredible graffiti art. Strolling in Valparaiso, we'll see old Plaza Echaurren, the port, bank zone, Concepción & Alegre Hills, where most art studios gathered. Then we're to leave Valparaiso for Viña del Mar, in about 20 minutes' drive. We will visit Fonck Museum exhibiting archaeological relics of the Easter Island and the entire Chile; Anfiteatro Quinta Vergara, which used to be a billionaire' residence, and now you can enjoy flourishing plants and flowers from all over the world. Finally, we'll go to Renaca beach to take a walk and relax by the sea.

Today, you will be sent to the airport to catch the flight to Calama. Our local driver will greet you at Calama Airport, and give you a 1.5 hours' transfer to the hotel in the town, San Pedro de Atacama. In the afternoon, we'll go to Valle de la Luna and Death Valley, which takes 10-15 minutes. It offers a great chance to see magnificent sunset over the desert which is also the driest place on the planet. Wind and water help to form various stone and sand formations which look like the surface of the moon, hence named Valle de la Luna.

We'll visit Salar de Atacama, the salt lake, and the excellent sites nearby. After driving for 1h 50min, we'll see a number of flamingos at the lake Laguna Chaxa. After 1.5 hours, we'll reach beautiful Micanti and Miñiques lagoons. Afterward, we're to drive for 20 minutes to Socaire, the town known for agricultural terraces. After lunch at Socaire, we'll head to Toconao, the settlement constructed by volcanic rocks and offers a grand view of Salar de Atacama. We'll also go to Quebrada de Jerez for hiking.

At the agreed time at dawn, you'll be escorted to Tatio Geysers with pre-packed breakfast. We will get to the geothermal place in 1.5 hours. The geysers can only be seen in the early morning as the sun rises. Enjoy your pre-packed breakfast while appreciating the scenery of the 3rd largest geyser field in the world. Followed by the Machuca village tour to see the wooden church and thatch-roofed houses, which can be reached by 40-min drive. Finally, we'll admire the charming hills and colored rocks in Rainbow Valley.

Our driver will send you to Calama airport, and you'll get on the plane flying to Santiago. Upon arrival at the airport of Santiago, Chile, please catch the connecting flight to Puerto Montt on your own. Getting off the plane at Puerto Montt Airport, you'll get a warm greeting and 30-40 minutes' transfer to the hotel by the local driver.

We will drive along the south bank of the Lake Llanquihue and finally get to Vicente Perez Rosales National Park, the site we'll have your Chile vacation packages all day long; the car ride would take about 50 minutes. Via Pescado River, Puerto Arturo Port and Villa Los Riscos, we'll see Petrohué Falls hidden in lush forests. Going ahead along the waterfalls, we'll close to Lake Todos Los Santos. Later, we'll see Osorno Volcano & Calbuco Volcano, going through forests to Green Lagoon, and marvel at the landscapes of Burbuja Crater, Petrohué Valley, Andes Mountains and adjacent Calbuco Volcano.

The driver and the guide will send you to take part in the rafting trip on Petrohué River in the morning. After that, we'll return to the hotel for a short rest. Then our driver will transfer you to Puerto Montt Airport, and you're to fly to Punta Arenas. As you arrive in Punta Arenas, a local driver will pick you up and send you to your hotel.

Today, our driver will escort you to the port where you shall board a cruise. Taking 40min-1h via Strait of Magellan, you will reach Magdalena Island. On the boat, you may watch rich varieties of marine creatures. On the Magdalena Island, you can see the Magellanic penguins. Going on cruise to Marta Island, you'll also see Patagonian sea lions and other animals. When the cruise ends, you will get back to your hotel with the driver. After a short break, you shall be picked up by the shared bus of Adventure Domes Ecocamp Patagonia, the hotel in Torres del Paine National Park, and it takes around 5 hours to the destination.

You can choose the short tour you're most interested in and all the tours depend on the weather of the day you arrive. Upon your arrival at the hotel, the staff will inform you of the details about every tour.

The shared hiking tour today on our Chile vacation packages will go to Torres del Paine National Park. You'll be guided to hike to Nördenskjold and Pehoe lakes, Salto Grande waterfall, and lastly Grey Lake to see the natural charm of a combination of forests, lakes and glaciers.

Another shared day tour to go trekking in the national park will be arranged. We'll trek through Ascencio River, Ascencio Valley and the forests, to reach the foot of cloud-kissing three peaks, which are the most famous Torres del Paine making the park be named after.
