In the morning, you will drive south to Svendborg by way of Egeskov Castle which is the best-preserved water castle of the Renaissance style in Europe. Upon arrival, you can choose to take a day trip to Eroskobing by ferry. In this small city, numerous buildings dating back to the 17th and the 18th century have remained almost unchanged. Later in the afternoon, you will return to Svendborg by ferry.

Early in the morning, you may take a stroll on the beach of Svendborg. Then drive west along the Funen coast to the peninsula of Jutland. Afterwards, you will head northwest to Billund, which is the location of world famous Legoland Amusement Park. You can enjoy your time at this park in the afternoon.

After breakfast, you will drive north through central peninsula of Jutland to Silkeborg. This is a beautiful lake area and well-known for its scenic beauty. You can spend some times on enjoying the picturesque scenery in a sailing by steamer or visit some of the excellent museums in this area.

Today, you will drive to Århus, the second largest city in Denmark. It is a clean and beautiful city with typical European-style rural scenery and a number of unique and novel architectural complexes. Meanwhile, the seashore here is a popular summer resort. Upon arrival, you can spend the whole day exploring local attractions such as the unique Open-air Museum consisting of 65 old buildings dating back to the 16th century in the Old City. In the afternoon, you can drive back to Copenhagen.

This Self Drive Tour will come to the end upon return to Copenhagen. You will have some free time to purchase souvenirs for your family or friends. After returning your rental car, you will transfer to the airport by taxi and depart from Denmark by air.
