How to get to the Galapagos Islands?
If you go to the Galapagos Islands, you can take a flight from Quito or Guayaquil.
Sometimes, the flights from Quito to Galapagos Islands will have a stopover in Guayaquil. Also, there are two airports in Galapagos Islands. One is on Isla Baltra and the other one is on Isla San Cristobal.
What is the climate in Ecuador?
Ecuador is divided into four regions: the western coast area, the central mountain area, the eastern Amazon River area and the Galapagos Islands, with diverse climatic conditions in each region. The western coastal plain area is the tropical rain forest climate with an average temperature of 23-25℃(73-77℉). In the central Andes Mountain area, the mountain basin is tropical grassland climate and the mountain area is subtropical forest climate. The rainy season is from December to June and the dry season is from July to November. The eastern Amazon region is the tropical rain forest climate, and it is hot and humid throughout the year.
Can I use credit card on the Galapagos Islands?
Credit card is not widely accepted on Galapagos Islands. It is only accepted by limited tourist shops, good restaurants and hotels. Normally, you need to pay cash during the trip in Galapagos Islands. When you enter the islands, you are required to pay USD100 as the national park fee in cash only. While, in our Ecuador travel packages, we will prepay that for you.

There are several banks and ATMs on the islands to withdraw money, but most with a limitation of no more than USD300 per day. In this case, you are suggested to prepare some cash in advance.
