Day 1: Arrival in Cairo, Airport pick-up
When your flight lands at the Cairo International Airport, our local representative will wait for you at the exit of the Arrival Hall and then transfer you to the hotel for check-in. You will enjoy the rest free time to recover for the following trip. Your hotel has a perfect location with only a few minutes driving to the Pyramids. Day 2: Giza Pyramids & Sakkara
In the morning, our Egyptologist guide will accompany you to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, Giza Plateau, where the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple will be visited. A 30-minute camel ride is also included. Our guide will help you take some funny photos: “Kiss” the Great Sphinx’s nose, “Put” your glasses on Sphinx or “Lift up” the Pyramid of Khufu on your own hand…… children will be excited to try to perfect the poses. After lunch, we will head to the Sakkara Complex where you can see the oldest pyramid, the Step Pyramid of Djoser. You and your children will learn and understand the evolutions of the Pyramid. Finally, we will visit Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt, before driving back to hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 3: Cairo highlights with the Egyptian Museum, Take an overnight train to Aswan
After breakfast, we will first go to visit the Egyptian Museum, which shows the history of ancient Egypt by displaying over 120,000 objects from the golden mask of Tutankhamun to the Mummy of the prominent Ramses II. After lunch, we will visit the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside the Citadel of Salah El Din. Continue driving to Islamic area of Cairo, our tour guide will lead you to explore the bustling Khan El Khalili Market. Let your children find souvenirs and bargain with the vendors, which will make their vacation full of unforgettable and interesting experiences. Tonight, your family will take the deluxe overnight sleeper train to Aswan, and the train journey is about 13 hours. Dinner is served on the train. Friendly Tip: Every cabin on the train has an en-suite washroom. Dinner and breakfast are served on board. Travelling by train is a good way to see the landscapes along the way and the real life of locals. However, someone thinks that the sleeper train cabins are tiny and uncomfortable. Day 4: Arrival in Aswan, Visit the High Dam & the Philae Temple
Breakfast is served on board. Upon your train arrival in Aswan, you will be picked up by our local guide and transferred to the hotel. After refreshing at the hotel,you will go sightseeing the three major scenic spots in Aswan: the High Dam, the largest ancient obelisk in a quarry - the Unfinished Obelisk and the Philae Temple. The Philae Temple is located on a small island and can only be reached by boat. Children will enjoy the boat ride and wandering inside the unique architecture, and they will be interested in learning the fascinating rebuilt history of the temple. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5: Private trip to Abu Simbel
After breakfast, our guide and driver will lead you to the Abu Simbel Temple, which is about 3 hours' drive away. It is no doubt a long journey but absolutely worth the effort. The temples were constructed to memorize the great Ramesses II and his queen Nefertari. After the Abu Simbel tour, you will be escorted back to the hotel. Your hotel is situated on the bank of the Nile River, which offers beautiful views of the Nile. You will enjoy pleasant time with your children in the outdoor pool and gardens. Day 6: Board a traditional Felucca and start your adventures on the Nile
Morning at around 08:00am, you will be picked up from hotel and transferred to board a private traditional felucca. Today, we will sail towards the Kom Ombo for 10-12 hours. Soft drink and tea will be offered and lunch is served on board by the crews. Your boat will be moored at a small island at dusk. A unique dinner will be arranged on the island, and you will have a chance to taste the classic local foods while enjoying the local Nubian music by a bonfire. Overnight stay on the felucca and sleep under the stars. It’s an activity your family will always remember! Friendly Tip: Felucca is a traditional wooden sailboat, and it has a support boat with facilities of toilet and shower. It provides comfortable sheets, pillows, mosquito nets and blankets which are washed every trip. If sleeping on the felucca for overnight is too adventurous for you, you can choose another more popular way to experience. Day 7: Felucca sailing to Kom Ombo, Transfer to Luxor
Breakfast on board, continue sailing to Kom Ombo. Disembark from the felucca and say goodbye to the friendly crews. The guide will pick you up and lead you to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which is 5 minutes' walk away from the river bank. The crocodile god Sobek and the falcon-headed god Horus are both consecrated here. Afterwards, we will head to Edfu by private car for about two hours. Visit the Temple of Edfu, also named as the Temple of Horus, which is the best preserved temple in Egypt. After lunch, continue driving to Luxor, check in at your hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 8: Luxor West Bank & Visit the Luxor Temple at sunset
The Valley of the Kings is our first stop today and we will take a ferry boat to the west bank of Luxor firstly. A donkey trip will be arranged for you from the west bank ferry boat location to Valley of Kings. This special journey takes about one hour. The Valley of the Kings is the main mausoleum area of the ancient Egyptian pharaohs and nobilities from the 17th to 20th dynasties, including King Tutankhamun and Ramesses II. Now, 62 tombs have been discovered here. Afterwards, head to visit the Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, get back to hotel for your family leisure time. At dusk, when the evening lights are lit,we will visit the Luxor Temple at sunset, which is a totally different experience seeing the pillars, the Sphinx Road and huge statues lit up. Friendly Tip: Besides the one-hour donkey trip from the west bank to the Valley of the Kings, you can also choose a bicycle tour on the same route. Day 9: Visit the Karnak Temple, Transfer to Hurghada
After breakfast, we will go sightseeing the Karnak Temple, which enshrines Amun - the god of sun and air. There are more than 20 halls, 134 large stone columns and ram-headed sphinxes. At the entrance, a Sphinx Road connects it with the Luxor Temple. After lunch, we will take the car and enjoy the amazing desert road trip for 4 hours to Hurghada, which is a famous resort town with white sandy beach and a panoramic view of the endless Red Sea. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel in Hurghada. Activity Option: The hot air balloon ride is a very popular activity in Luxor. You will not only view the whole city of Luxor, but also the stunning sunrise from the Valley of the Kings. It is recommended for families with children. Day 10: Full day boat travel with snorkeling (join-in tour)
After breakfast, you will be picked up by a private car and transferred to the pier to meet with the other travelers. A stylish yacht tour on the Red Sea is waiting for you to experience, and you will discover the angelfish, coral reefs, turtles and dolphins, try sea fishing, snorkeling and other water sports. A buffet lunch is served on board. At around 16:00, we will return to the pier and transfer back to your hotel. Remark: Private land transfers and join-in activity for today’s arrangement. Day 11: Enjoy leisure time in Hurghada

Day 12: Fly to Cairo and departure from Cairo
Our Egypt family tour ends today. The driver will pick you up and transfer you to the Hurghada airport to catch the flight to Cairo. Please connect your homeward flight from Cairo airport by yourself. We wish you a smooth trip home! Meals: Breakfast
