Today you need to get up early in the morning. After having breakfast at the lodge, Chef Delven Adams will meet you at the hotel and escort you to Bourda Market to experience the local lifestyle and buy the ingredients, like fish, meat, fruit and vegetable for today’s lunch.
Then, you will be taken to tour Georgetown. Most of the buildings in the city are wooden architecture dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. Under the company of your guide, you will visit some of the most famous ones like the residence of the Prime Minister, the Statehouse, one of the world’s tallest wooden buildings St. Georges Cathedral, as well as the largest and oldest market Stabroek Market.
Lunch will be a special treat at the backyard of Chef Delven’s home. He will prepare an amazing meal with the ingredients we bought in the morning and you could enjoy a relaxing time in the garden or take part in the cooking if you are interested.
After lunch, you will be guided to the National Park to hand-feed the West Indian Manatees and pay a visit to the Georgetown Botanical Gardens.
