Day 1: Arrival in San Pedro Sula, Airport Pick-up
Upon your arrival at the Aeropuerto Internacional Ramon Villeda Morales Airport (SAP) in San Pedro Sula today, your bilingual driver will pick you up and then transfer you to the downtown hotel for check-in.

Day 2: San Pedro Sula Half Day Tour, Drive to Copan
This morning, you will visit San Pedro Sula, the second largest city of Honduras. You will get a general idea about the history and culture of the city while taking a private drive through the commercial and residential areas. You will first visit the Museum of Anthropology and History of San Pedro Sula, and then explore a local handicraft market named the Mrcado Guamilito to have a close contact with local people.

In the afternoon, we will drive around 4 hours along the beautiful countryside road to the picturesque village of Copan. Located in the Mesoamerican cultural region with many unknown ruins, it is an archaeological site of the Mayan civilization.

Day 3: Discover the Mayan Civilization in Copan
Today we will spend a full day to discover the Mayan civilization. In the morning, we will visit the main archaeological site, the Copan Ruinas, which consist of the three main sites: the Hieroglyphic Stairway, the Mayan Ball Court, and the Sepulchers. Here, you will learn about the impressive 63-step stairway with over 2,500 hieroglyphs and masterfully carved Stella.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Sculpture Museum, the Museo de Arqueologia and the Rosalila Temple to admire more various Mayan mythos sculptures.

Day 4: Visit the Macaw Mountain Bird Park, Drive to San Pedro Sula
After breakfast, we will visit the "Las Sepulturas", a residential and burial site of the Mayan nobles. Afterwards, we will drive to the Macaw Mountain Bird Park & Nature Reserve to see many fascinating birds and have a leisure walk there. In the afternoon, we will drive back to San Pedro Sula.

Day 5: San Pedro Sula - Lake Yojoa - Comayagua - Tegucigalpa
Today, we will drive to Tegucigalpa, the capital city of Honduras. On the way, we will first stop at the Lake Yojoa, where you will visit the Pulhapanzak Waterfall, also known as the Cataratas Pulhapanzak, and enjoy its surrounding mountainous scenery. You will also enjoy a local flavor lunch at the Lake Yojoa.

After your lunch break, we will continue to drive to Comayagua, the former capital city, to see the oldest functioning clock of the Americas in the El Reloj de la Catedral. Afterwards, we will head to Tegucigalpa and check in at the hotel on arrival.

Day 6: Tegucigalpa Highlights
As the capital of Honduras, Tegucigalpa is abundant in history and culture. In the morning, we will firstly visit the Basilica de Suyapa in the colonial district to know more about the colonial culture. Then, we will head to the Naciones Unidas El Picacho Park, where you will find a huge statue of Jesus standing on the Picacho Hill. From there, you will enjoy a great view of the whole Tegucigalpa city.

In the afternoon, we will explore the charming Santa Lucia, and the Valle de Angeles which is the home to the local artisans. You will find many colorful shops selling local artisans’ handicrafts. After strolling around, we will return back to your hotel in Tegucigalpa.

Day 7: Fly to La Ceiba, Bird Watching in Parque Nacional Pico Bonito
Today, you need to get up early for breakfast and then check out from the hotel. Your driver will escort you to the Comayagua International Airport for your flight to La Ceiba. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel.

In the afternoon, we will drive to the Parque Nacional Pico Bonito, the largest and most bio-diverse park in Honduras. There are various trails you can choose to enjoy the natural observation and bird watching. At the end of your hiking, you will enjoy a leisure swim in the crystal clear waters of a natural pool. Stay overnight in La Ceiba.

Day 8: Explore the Cayos Cochinos
We will have a full day to explore the Cayos Cochinos Marine Reserve. After breakfast, we will drive east to the Sambo Creek and change to a boat to sail around the isles. We will walk into the Garifuna village of Chachahuate on the island, where you will interact with local people and enjoy a typical lunch. In the afternoon, you could relax on the beach or try snorkeling by yourself. Then we will sail back to the port and return to the hotel in La Ceiba.

Day 9: Transfer to Trujillo, Visit the Fortaleza de Santa Barbara
In the morning, we will depart from La Ceiba to Olancho Trujillo. Driving through the beautiful landscape, and after around 3 hours, we will reach Trujillo. Check in at the hotel and have a short break. In the afternoon, we will explore the Fortaleza de Santa Barbara, the oldest fortress in Honduras, and the Cementerio Viejo, also known as the Grave of Filibuster William Walker, a US mercenary who wanted to conquer Honduras from the Spanish colonists.

Day 10: Trujillo Half Day Trip, Drive back to La Ceiba
After a sweeping view of the city town square, we will walk into the Campo del Mar Nature Park. This is a small reserve for some wildlife such as macaws and bradypodes. You will also have a chance to see some tropical Honduran plants like flora and flora in the Botanical Gardens and Orchard. In the afternoon, we will transfer you back to La Ceiba and check in at the hotel.

Day 11: Transfer to Roatan by a Speed Ferry
Today, we will take a morning ferry departing at 09:30 to the Roatan Island. After 90 minutes’ sailing, you will arrive at the island. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel in West Bay Beach. You will have three nights here.

Day 12: Enjoy Beach Leisure Time in Roatan
This full day remains free for you. You could try some water activities at the West Bay Beach like scuba diving, snorkeling or parasailing.

Day 14: Departure from Roatan
