- Question: When are the high season, low and shoulder season in your tour itineraries listed on your website?
-
Answer: High season refers to the period from 1st March to 30th November, and the low season is from 1st December to the end of next February. Shoulder season refers to the period corresponding to the cruise sailing schedules.
- Question: Do children pay the same fare as adults?
-
Answer: According to the rules of China National Tourism Administration (CNTA), children above 12 years old are charged as adults. If accompanied by parents or adults, children under 12 years old are charged much less for land services, breakfast and domestic airfare.
For infants less than 2 years, we only charge airfares, which is 10% of the adult's fare without having a seat. If there are any surcharges required, like admission fee, during the tour, they need to be paid on the spot. - Question: Does your price include airfare?
-
Answer: Our prices only include airfare of China domestic flights which form parts of the tour.
- Question: What languages can your guide speak?
-
Answer: Our guides can speak English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
- Question:How many people will be in my group?
-
Answer: If you take a private tour, there will be only you, the families and friends who book with us. If you take our small group tour, altogether there will be less than 18 people in the group.
- Question: Will we have meals with our guide or share with other people?
-
Answer: The guide and the driver will have not meals at the same table with you, but at the same restaurant. On a private tour, you will have a private table. On a small group tour, you will share a table with other members of your group.
- Question: Can we order our own dishes?
-
Answer: Yes. We have successfully arranged a la carte meals in certain restaurants, which have been carefully inspected by our Management. But we still have some pre-arranged meals (meaning of set-menu) in state-approved restaurants.
- Question: Do you provide vegetarian food (even without eggs or seafood)?
-
Answer: Yes, we cater to our client's request.
- Question: How much should we prepare for our own dinner?
-
Answer: A meal for two usually costs less than CNY100.00 excluding wine.
- Question: What proof will I get from you after I send the payment?
-
Answer: We will provide you a voucher or invoice.
- Question: Can I have a private tour guide during the Yangtze Cruise?
-
Answer: All activities on board are arranged by a cruise company. We regret that we can not provide private tour guides for passengers. However, during shore excursions, passengers are divided into several groups. Each group will have a guide.
- Question: Who should I contact if any emergency happens?
-
You need to contact our office immediately. We have 24-hour service everyday.
- Question: How do I book a tour? Do you accept credit cards?
-
Answer: The tour is booked as soon as we receive a deposit or tour payment. We accept payment by wire transfer, check and major credit cards. The specific information that you may require is accordance with the tour you book. Please contact us to get further information on booking and paying for your tour.
- Question: Should I tip?
-
Answer: It is quite common that people tip guides, drivers and hotel porters for their excellent work and service, but it is not common practice in China to tip restaurant waiters/waitresses or taxi drivers.
- Question: How can I find my guide after arrival?
-
Answer: If you arrive at an airport, after going through the luggage claim area you will find your guide outside of the terminal holding a sign with your name on it. If you arrive at a railway station, you will find your guide standing outside of the carriage you are in, holding a sign with your name on it. In the event that your guide is not holding the sign up high enough for you to see or is not standing where you expect to see him, do not worry. You may contact us immediately.
