Day 1: Arrive at Kolkata
Once you arrive at Kolkata, find a prepaid taxi at the airport or a rickshaw if you come by train or bus.

First, visit the St. Paul's Cathedral, the Maidan Garden is not far away, take a stroll in it of you are interested. And the Victoria Memorial located at the southeast of Maidan Park, you can get there on foot. After visiting, take a tuktuk to Kalighat Kali Temple, have a lunch in your hotel or at a nearby restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Indian Museum. Walk along the Sudder Street in the later and take a break at a coffee shop. Saravana Bhavan, a global vegetarian chain in South India, has reached more than 60 in the world, which is highly recommended.

Day 2: A meaningful day in Kolkata
Visit the Parashnath Jain Temple in the morning, when it is not too crowded. Malik Ghat Flower Market located at Southeast end of Howrah Bridge, built in 1855 and it is the largest flower market in Asia. In the afternoon, visit the Fort William, Princep Ghat and BBD Bagh. Finally, get to the Mother House. The exhibition hall on the first floor displays Mother Teresa's photos, materials and items, and the bedrooms on the second floor retain their original appearance.
The mother House, all called the Mother Teresa's House in Kolkata, founded by Mother Teresa in 1950 with the other 12 people. Now it has more than 7000 staff and numerous followers and volunteers all over the world and now they are working in different countries. Their mission is to help children and adults who are abandoned, homeless, hungry, and handicapped without the ability to support themselves. Address: 54A, Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Rd, Ripon Street, Kolkata. This area is a bustling area in Kolkata but the Mother House is the first grey building in a humble old alley with a big picture of Sister Teresa. How to get there: Take public bus AC-17, C-26, E-26, S-2A, S-12C and get off at Bumboo Vila Dakhghar, the Mother House is in walking distance.

Day 3: To be a volunteer for one or more days
The Mother House has many homes for different people, the home of Kalighat is for the dying, the Prem Dan is for the old, NirmalaShishuBhavan is a home for children, etc. If foreign travelers know a little English and can go one with a simple communicate in English, they can sign up as volunteers for one day, one week or long-term, and volunteers need to take care of their own food and accommodation.
