How to Pay Delhi Metro Fare
1. Single Journey Token: The ticket is divided into paper ticket and electronic ticket. Paper QR tickets are available on Ticket window and Customer Care Centre. In addition, you can buy electronic QR tickets on apps through mobile phone, like Paytm, One Delhi, and Tummoc App.2. Delhi Metro Small Card: It is a kind of metro card generally used by local people and they can gain a discount of 10% on normal days. Besides, the card offers additional discount of 10% during slack hours on weekdays and Saturday. You can buy and recharge Small Card on the Customer Care Centre or Smart Card vending machine. The card costs Rs. 150 (Rs. 50 Security Deposit +Rs. 100 Add value), and minimum top-up amount is Rs.100 per time.
3. Tourist Card: The card is valid on all DMRC lines except Airport Metro Express, and it is divided into two types: A One-day tourist card costs Rs200 (Rs150 + Rs50 refundable deposit); A Three-day tourist card costs Rs500 (Rs450 + Rs50 refundable deposit). By the way, residual amount in the card will not be refunded.
4. National Common Mobility Card (NCMC): You can buy the card on DMRC stations at specific NCMC counters, or some banks issue RuPay-based NCMC. The card offers a 10% discount during peak hours and a 20% discount during off-peak hours.
