Travel Suggestions for Shirakawa-go in June
1. June is the off season in Shirakawa-go. Hotel prices return to normal, and you can book them easily. The village sees fewer visitors, and you don’t need to wait in line for the shuttle buses of Shiroyama Tenshukaku Observation Deck, and in cafes and left-luggage office.2. With the rainy season arriving, June is not a favorable time to visit Shirakawa-go. But natural scenery is attractive. 3. In case it rains, prioritize indoor places, such as Myozenji Temple Musuem, Kobikiya Kakinokiten Store and Bunka Kissa Kyoshu.
