(1) Heatstroke prevention items: To stay hydrated, it’s recommended to bring your water bottle. You can also carry a handheld fan to bring you more fresh air or wet tissues to wipe your sweat in time.
(2) Sun protection products: The UV index of Tsingy de Bemaraha is high at around 7, under which you need to prevent sunburn through a sun-protective jacket, a sun hat, or sweat-resistant sunscreen.
(3) Outdoor gear: Some parts in the hiking route may be quite steep and you may further use your hands to help yourself hike safely, so you can bring a pair of climbing gloves for protection. If you decide to camp in the park, a flashlight is a must at night.
(4) For rainy season: Rain gear such as an umbrella or a raincoat is requisite.
(5) For dry season: On the way to the park, an anti-dust mask can effectively block flying dust on dirt roads from entering your mouth and nose.
