Kathmandu & Pokhara Highlights

Land at the Tribhuvan International Airport to meet our warm guide and driver, you will then be escorted to the reserved hotel. After settled, the guide will lead you to Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple). There, you can not only overlook the panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley, but also have a close contact with the lively monkeys. Later, we will drive you to the prosperous Kathmandu Durbar Square to watch the classical architectural complex including many forest-like temples and well-decorated palaces. Here you will also visit the Kumari Temple to see the living Goddess Kumari with your own eyes. At last, you'll walk to a local vegetable and spice market and immerse yourself in the real life of the Nepalese people.

This morning, we will start the day at the famous sacrificial site Dakshinkali Temple, we will then guide you to Chobhar Gorge dressed with green mountains and limpid streams to have a look. After that, a private ride will take you to Patan Durbar Square. It looks like a great open-air museum due to a large amount of ancient buildings are gathered orderly on both sides of its streets and lanes. Return to Kathmandu and have a cooking class at a local family and enjoy dinner with them.

Optional One hour Mountain flight: In good weather, you can choose to take a one-hour morning Mountain Flight trip for an up-close view of the Mt. Everest & Himalaya. This flight is completely weather permitted and normal flight time is around 07:00 on the clear days. This activity can be arranged per your request.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport and fly to Pokhara. After arrival, your private Pokhara guide will pick you up from the airport and send you to check in the hotel. Then, an enjoyable boat trip on Phewa Lake will be scheduled. As a famous royal resort in Nepal, the captivating Phewa Lake leans against the majestic Annapurna, and you can also see beautiful reflections of mountain peaks, and tree shadows on the smooth surface of the lake. Next, we will pay a visit to the tranquil Barahi Temple located in an islet in central lake. Then, you will be sent back to your hotel.

In the morning, we will get up early to go to Sarangkot, and enjoy a visual feast of the amazing sunrise over snow mountain peaks there. Afterwards, the Hindu Bindabasini Temple and the pure white World Peace Pagoda await your visit. After lunch, continue our trip to Devi's Fall, which is plunging into deep valley with fast-flowing water and earsplitting spindrifts. Next, our guide will accompany you to take an exploration to the Mahadev Cave. When the visiting is over, we will proceed to Pokhara Mountain Museum to catch sight of many mountaineering equipment and pictures of different times. After that, go to the fascinating Lake Beganas to round off today's tour.

Friendly tips: If you wish to add an easy hiking experience, we can arrange a 1-2 hour hike down from the World Peace Stupa to the Phewa Lake. You can decide in advance or discuss this with your guide at the time based on your physical condition. There is no additional cost for this activity.

Today's itinerary begins with the scenic Seti River after a comfortable car ride. Later, get into the vehicle to reach the unique Kalika suspension bridge to have a look. Afterwards, our guide will send you to catch the flight to Kathmandu. After arriving, the guide and driver will transfer to Nagarkot to enjoy charming sunset view over snow mountains. Then, you will be driven to the hotel for check-in.

Get up early to admire the fascinating sunrise over the Himalayas, and then we will drive to Bhaktapur City to watch the Bhaktapur Durbar Square built with countless finely decorated temples and stupas. Among them, the representative Dattatreya Temple with thick Hinduism atmosphere will be visited later. To learn more about Nepal's Kumari culture, we'll also visit the home of a former Kumari and talk to her about topics that interest you. In the afternoon, we will stroll another Hindu Pashupatinath Temple. Then, accompanied by our guide, you will go to the biggest pagoda in Nepal - Boudhanath Stupa for sightseeing.
