Day 1: Take bus to Pokhara
Welcome to join the Pokhara hiking tour! If you're in Thamel area, our guide will pick you up from the hotel and then lead you to the bus station by foot. If not, you need to find your own way to get to the bus station. Then take the bus to Pokhara, taking 7 - 8 hours en route. The scenery along the way is dramatic, following the mighty Trisuli River with impressive gorges and exciting rapids for the first half and then the magnificent Himalaya coming close into view as you approach Pokhara. Stay overnight at the lakeside hotel in Pokhara. Accommodation: Hotel Third Pole or similar

Day 2: Drive to Nayapul, Trek to Hile
Today we will drive to Nayapul, the starting point of Ghorepani Poonhill Trek, located 45 kilometers (28 miles) away from Pokhara. The hike begins after we pass the ACAP checkpoint. During the 3 hours' hiking, we will follow the Bhurungdi Khola River, pass by the waterfalls, tropical forest and thriving rice fields upstream to Hile. On arrival, check in a local guesthouse or teahouse for a good rest. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

In the early morning we will trek through Tikhedhunga settlement and then climb up a steep staircase made of stone to reach the cozy mountainous village of Ulleri. Relish the pleasure of trekking through the magnificent mountains, lucid streams and peaceful culturally rich villages. Next we will walk through the lush green forest dotted with rhododendron bush to reach Ghorepani (2,775 meters) to stay for one night. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4: Trek to Poonhill and then to Tadapani
To enjoy the spectacular sunrise among the peaks, we will start early for a 45 minutes' walk above Ghorepani to the hilltop of Poonhill (3,190 meters). The sunrise view is unparalleled when golden sun shines on the snow-capped mountains. After that, we will go back to the hotel for breakfast. Then continue the trek to Tadapani (2,540 meters) which will last for 5 to 6 hours. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5: Trek to Ghandruk Village
The trail from Tadapani to Ghandruk is mostly downhill. We will cross the dense forest, brooks and mountain ridge to reach Ghandruk (1,950 meters) located among the imposing Annapurna and Machhauchhare mountains. It is a picturesque village inhabited by the brave and hospitable Gurkhas. Here you will get the chance to learn about local people, housing style, culture, and traditions. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6: Trek down to Nayapul, Drive to Pokhara
The trail for toady will lead us to go downhill, across the terraced rice fields via stone steps and then finally reach Syaulibazaar. The path leading to Birethanti is a bit difficult, but you will be blessed with enthralling mountain views. The hike ends at Nayapul and then we will take the bus back to Pokhara. After arrival and hotel check-in, the rest day is free for you. You could have a good rest at your hotel, go for a walk around the peaceful lake, or get relaxed at one of the bars. Day 7: Take bus back to Kathmandu
It is worth spending a morning boating over the lake while waiting to catch the beautiful sunrise. Then we will have a 6 - 7 hours' bus ride back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, the guide will walk you to your hotel at Thamel area. If you stay out of Thamel area, the guide will assist you to call a taxi. Thank you very much for booking the tour with us.
