In the morning, your guide and the driver will pick you up at the hotel and lead you to visit Souq Waqif and the Museum of the Islamic Art. Souq Waqif is home to a large amount of traditional-style Arabic restaurants and shops. With the largest collection of Islamic art in the world, the Museum of the Islamic Art which is shaped like a postmodern fortress with minimal windows holds the masterpieces of Islamic art like metalwork, ceramics, woodwork, jewelry, textiles, coins and glass.
Then drive through the Corniche, stop at Dhow Harbour and West Bay to take pictures. Next, go to visit Katara Cultural Village. Katara Cultural Village, also the Valley of Culture, is a storehouse of Qatari art and heritage. The ancient Roman-style amphitheatre is a landmark of the cultural village, and it is also an ideal place for photographers. Then visit the Pearl-Qatar Island, an artificial island covering an area of 1.5 km². As one of the luxurious regions in Qatar, the island, lying on the west bay lagoon of Doha, is the most popular attraction for discovering the architectural beauty of Qatar.
In the afternoon, we will drive for about 1 hour to Mesaieed in the south for Desert Safari. We will experience the interesting short Camel Ride and enjoy a thrilling dune bashing in a luxurious 4-wheel-drive SUV. In addition, we will visit the beach here, and finally return to the hotel.
