Highlights of Tropical Seychelles

In the morning, we will drive 25 kilometers (16 miles) for around 35 minutes to the vivid town of Victoria, one of the world’s smallest capitals. Walking around Victoria is easy and relaxing. We will start from the 118-year-old Clock tower, often nicknamed Little Ben, which is the smaller replica of the London Big Ben. Within walking distance of the Clock tower, you can see the prominent landmark, St Paul's Cathedral. Later, we will head to the Sir Selwyn-Clarke Market to watch the daily life of the locals. 

A creole lunch is recommended here and the lunch will be at your own expense. In the afternoon, we will take a scenic drive along Sans Soucis road, heading for old Mission Lodge. En route, we will appreciate breath-taking panoramas of the central mountainous region of Mahe Island.

Today, you will have a glass-bottomed boat trip to explore the wonderful marine life. The guide will escort you to sail 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) from Victoria to the Saint Anne Marine National Park, which is a must-see destination for Seychelles visiting. You could encounter the indigenous wildlife species of the Seychelles along the way. It is also quite common to see colorful fish, coral reefs and giant turtles when snorkeling in the calm crystal waters. After landing on the Sainte Anne Island, the oldest marine reserve in Seychelles, you will be greeted by the giant land tortoises, roaming freely and harmlessly around you. 

Before admiring the incredible seascape, you will enjoy a tasty barbecue lunch. Our guide will take you for a scenic walk later to discover the park along the beautiful sandy beaches, bordered with granite rock and coconut trees. Everything is pleasant and without stress. You may admire the splendid sunset view of the Indian Ocean while sailing back to your hotel.

Departing from Mahe after breakfast, we will take a fast ferry for 75 minutes to the second-largest island of the inner Seychelles, Praslin, which is home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve. We will arrange for you a guided tour to the impressive rainforest of the Vallée de Mai, one of the only two locations on Earth where the legendary Coco de Mer grows naturally. 

You should take at least 1 hour to explore its mystical valley. Along the way our experienced guide would stop and assist you to spot endemic species, listen out for birdlife and enjoy the stunning views. At dusk, take a scenic coastal drive to Anse Lazio and enjoy pleasant beach time.

This is a free day for you to explore the world famous Anse Lazio beach. You may try some optional water sports or develop your diving experience in the crystalline waters.

Today we will take a 30-minute ferry to La Digue, a quaint community in Seychelles. The most popular transport in La Digue is bicycle, and travelers can enjoy leisurely bike riding along the beach because there is virtually no traffic. Upon arriving at the island jetty, you will be welcomed by our local representative, who will escort you to the bicycle supplier for a bicycle, entrance ticket to L’Union Estate, La Digue map, and relevant advice. 

You can discover the traditional charms of the island at your own pace by bike. Traveling photographers' dream would come true when exploring the picturesque Anse Source D’Argent. In the afternoon, we return to Praslin Island by fast ferry.

Your Seychelles one-week tour comes to an end today. After breakfast, we will transfer you back to Mahe Island by ferry, and then our driver will take you to Seychelles International Airport according to your homeward flight schedule. We hope to see you again on these wonderful islands.
