Bratislava is the capital as well as the largest city in Slovakia. Adjacent to Austria and Hungary, it is the only capital in the world that borders two neighboring countries. Today, we will take a car to tour around this city with the company of our tour guide. First, we will admire the Presidential Palace from the outside, and then pay a visit to the Slavin Monument. The following stop is the Bratislava Castle, a must-see attraction in Bratislava. As an agelong castle in Slovakia, it was built in the 9th century. Looking from a distance, it resembles an upside down table, hence the nickname the Dining Table of God. Due to the advantageous location on the hills, you can have a panoramic view of the Danube River and the whole city below.
Next we will have a short walking tour from the castle to the downtown area. On the way, we will pass the Jewish Quarter, St. Martin Cathedral, Keglevich Palace, National Theater and Opera building, Main Square, Old Town Hall, Roland Fountain, Franciscan Church, and St. Michaels Gate. After, you will be sent back to the hotel.
