Where and how to go gorilla trekking in Uganda?
Most gorilla trekking in Uganda takes place in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. To go gorilla trekking, visitors should be no less than 15 years old and healthy. If the visitor gets sick, he or she will be not allowed to do that, to protect the gorillas from being infected. Besides, the gorilla permit is required as only 8 people can trace each gorilla family every day. You need to buy it in advance as they are always under great demand. Several vaccinations are recommended by PHAC and WHO for travelling to Uganda. They are hepatitis A, hepatitis B, Typhoid, Cholera, and Yellow Fever. The Yellow Fever is compulsive and please remember to bring a certificate to show that you have already get injected 10 days ago.
What should I wear when taking Uganda tours?
It will be a little hot during daytime. You are suggested to wear light clothes. In the evening, for some high altitude places like Bwindi National Park, Kabale, Lake Bunyonyi, it will be a bit cool and sweaters are recommended.

When you do safari in the mountains, remember to bring sunglasses, hat, sun cream, mosquito repellent, waterproof coat, etc.
