Day 1: Arrival in United Kingdom
You will fly to the capital of Scotland - Edinburgh, which is a city full of mystery because of the famous fantastic literature Harry Potter. Several years ago, J. K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series created the first Harry Potter novel - Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and the creation of this novel were inspired by the mystery of Edinburgh Castle. Upon arrival, you will transfer to the hotel and then adjust to the jet lag.
Day 2: Edinburgh - Windermere
In the morning, there is a tour in the downtown of Edinburgh. Edinburgh is an ancient city, which is full of the buildings of medieval George style. In the 18th century, it is also the center of culture, art, philosophy and science in Europe. In Edinburgh, you will mainly visit the famous Princes Street. Following this, you will go to Windermere by bus. The beautiful lakes there are just like a piece of painting and showing the beauty of the nature. The Windermere National Park is mainly formed by lake area and the biggest national park among the 11 national parks in England and Wales.
Day 3: Windermere - Manchester - Birmingham
Today, you will firstly visit Manchester, an important industrial town of England and the location of the famous football club Manchester United. Upon arrival, you will go to the Albert Square, the center area of this city. The most striking symbol at the square is a Gothic architecture which was built in Victoria period. Then, you will take a tour in the downtown of Birmingham, this city receives about 22 million tourists every year and the business center flourishing degree just follows the west London. Day 4: Birmingham - Stratford - Oxford - London
The first scenic spot today is Stratford - the hometown of English Renaissance great playwright and poet, European Renaissance humanism literature master Shakespeare. You are here to visit the Home of Shakespeare and appreciate the beauty of the town. Next, you will go forward to Oxford, which is famous for its first class university in the world and the historical sites around the town. Oxford University is the essential part of this visit. Then, you will proceed to visit the representative residence of British aristocracy - Blenheim Palace, the biggest private palace in Britain. After appreciating the beautiful British idyllic scenery, you will go back to London.
Day 5: London - Cambridge - London
Today you are going to visit another place which is famous for its university – Cambridge. Just like Oxford, Cambridge is also an attractive university town. Although Oxford and Cambridge are both famous university, the atmospheres are different. Oxford is called “City in the University”, while Cambridge is “University in the City”. You will visit one of the well known colleges - King’s college, and also one of the biggest, wealthiest and reputable colleges - Trinity College. Then you will return to London and visit the famous British Museum.
Day 6: London
In the morning, you will visit the Houses of Parliament, 10 Downing Street, and Westminster Abbey, which is the place for the kings to ascend the throne. During the visit, you will also have the chance to look at the symbolic building of England, the Big Ben. Next, you will proceed to the British royal symbol - Buckingham Palace. If lucky enough, you will encounter the handover ceremony of the guards. In addition, the London Tower which is at the bank of River Thames will also be seen. At last, you will go to visit the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.
Day 7: London - Windsor - London
Today you will make a tour at Windsor, which is located in the bank of River Thames, and visit the British royal castle - Windsor Castle. The Windsor Castle is the biggest castle for imperial household in the world, and now it is still the British royal residence. In addition, the castle is one of the important places for the king to award title and titles for the nobles, and in the upper class of Britain, it is honored to attend to the ceremonies held in the castle. In the afternoon, you will go ahead to Bicester for shopping and then return to London.
Day 8: London
The whole day will be free for you. You will have the chance to visit many other places, such as the Hyde Park which is regarded as the huge green lung in London, Millennium Done in Greenwich Peninsula and the London Eye at the south bank of River Thames.
Day 9: Departure from United Kingdom
After breakfast, you will go to the airport and then take a flight leaving Britain.
