Day 1: Arrival in Atlanta
Welcome to Atlanta and join our 2 weeks USA tours! After your arrival please go to the hotel on your own, where you will meet our tour director. Day 2: Explore the city of Atlanta
Today our tour guide will show you around the city of Atlanta. Not only will you visit the childhood residence of Martin Luther King Jr., but you'll also learn about another famous Atlanta writer Margaret Mitchell. The film adaptation of her historical novel ‘Gone with the Wind’ became a classic in American cinema. You're going to visit the Tara Museum and the Oak Plantation, where the director was inspired by the plantation scenes in the film. In the evening you will attend a welcome reception to know other members of the group. Meals: Breakfast

Day 3: Depart for Augusta, Get to Charleston
Today we're heading west to Augusta, home of the famous Masters Golf Tournament. By late afternoon we'll be arriving in Charleston, one of the most historic and charming cities in the southern United States. In the evening you are free to move around. Meals: Breakfast

Day 4: Visit Charleston, Drive to Savannah with a stopover in Beaufort
In the morning you will follow a local guide to tour around Charleston and take a leisurely stroll through Charleston's well-preserved historic districts. In the afternoon, you may wish to participate in an optional excursion to visit the historic Boone Hall Plantation and the famous Oak Avenue. The building has been featured in many American films, including ‘North and South’. On the way to Savannah, we will stop at Port de Louisbourg dans l'Isle Royale for a tour. Its prewar buildings have been featured in movies like "Forrest Gump". When you arrive in Savannah, you will check into the hotel and rest. Meals: Breakfast

Day 5: Enjoy the charm of Savannah
On the fifth day of the USA 2 weeks itinerary we will enjoy the charm of Savannah, which was once the world's largest port for transporting cotton. The square is surrounded by a number of centuries-old buildings that provide the backdrop for the novel ‘Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil’. Meals: Breakfast

Day 6: Drive to Montgomery
Starting from Savanna in the morning, heading west through Georgia we will enter the Deep South into Alabama. After arriving in Montgomery, the capital of Alabama and an important city of the American Civil Rights Movement, we will visit the Rosa Parks Library and Museum. You can also visit the Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church. It was there that Martin Luther King Jr. called for the boycott. We will stay overnight in Montgomery. Meals: Breakfast

Day 7: Head for Selma & New Orleans
In the morning, we will leave Montgomery for Selma, another center of the civil rights movement. First visit the Edmund Pettis Bridge, the starting point of the historic march from Selma to Montgomery, where Bloody Sunday also took place. After that we'll visit Brown Chapel and then head south across Mississippi to New Orleans. New Orleans today is a unique melting pot of Spanish, French, Caribbean, African, and Anglo-Saxon styles, especially in food, architecture, and music. In the evening, you can choose an optional tour to take a river boat for dinner. Meals: Breakfast

Day 8: One day time in New Orleans
Today you will explore and appreciate the French charm and grandeur of New Orleans. Start a visit to a working plantation (optional) in the morning. Then you can explore the iconic French-wrought-iron balconies that overlook the narrow, beautiful cobblestone streets. Meals: Breakfast

Day 9: Visit Baton Rouge, Drive along Natchez Trace Parkway
In the morning we will head to Baton Rouge for a short visit, followed by a journey to Natchez via the historic Natchez Trail. The Natchez Trail, a 444-mile tree-lined boulevard, offers picturesque views and you can know a bit of Native American and European history. As Natchez is the oldest European settlement on the Mississippi River, we're going to call on a local family this afternoon to know more about these millionaires of the 19th century. Meals: Breakfast

Day 10: Continue your trip to Memphis
From Natchez we will drive to Memphis in the morning, the "land of the blues", to continue our itinerary. Upon arrival, we will take a walk down Beale Street, one of the busiest streets in the city. Walk along the historic Front Street, where cotton merchants used to trade and gave it the name of Cotton Row. Graceland, Elvis Presley's former home, is also worth a visit. Meals: Breakfast

Day 11: Visit Nashville from Memphis
Today we're heading to Nashville, known as the capital of country music. The newly renovated Lyman Auditorium in downtown Nashville was once site of the Grand Ole Opry, and studios and Opryland near Music Row testify to Nashville's status as the most important city in the history of country music. Day 12: Take a city tour in Nashville
We are going to take a city tour in Nashville in the morning. You will explore the city's landmarks and visit city's many recording studios to listen to classic country music. In the evening you can join in an optional tour for dinner and performances. Meals: Breakfast

Day 13: Drive to visit Chattanooga, Return to Atlanta
In the morning we will head towards Chattanooga where the famous Chattanooga Choo Choo is located. Chattanooga draws tourists with its beautiful and thriving downtown and redeveloped streamside. In the afternoon we will go back to Atlanta. During the rest of the time, you are free to stroll around to visit the Georgia Aquarium, Coca-Cola World, CNN Center, or other interesting places. Meals: Breakfast
