Day 1(Wed): Airport pick-up, Visit El Avila National Park Our guide will pick you up at Simón Bolívar International Airport (CCS), and then escort you to the hotel on the coast. After you have a nice break in the hotel, we will arrange a short trip to the El Avila National Park. You will take a 4x4 vehicle crossing Macuto and passing by the small farming village of Galipan on top of the mountain and you will have a nice view of the whole city and the Caribbean Sea. Accommodation: Hotel Olé Caribe (4 stars)
Day 2(Thu): Fly to Canaima, Visit Canaima Lagoon & Sapo Falls In the early morning, our guide will pick you up and transfer you to the airport, from where you will take flight directly to Canaima. When you arrive, the local guide will transfer you to the lodge to have a rest. Your lunch will be served in the village. In the afternoon, you will visit the lagoon area, where there is a group of different cascades. From the other side of the lagoon, you will see the Sapo Falls and take a hike behind the water curtain. Get back to the lodge after the visit. * There are only direct flights from Caracas to Canaima on Thursdays and Sundays Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: Waku Lodge (3 stars) or similars
Day 3(Fri): Angel Falls adventure trip You will have breakfast at the lodge and then begin today's sightseeing trip. Our guide will take you to walk through the jungles, get on a canoe and go up the rivers towards the spectacular Angel Falls. This is a four-hour boat trip and the seats would not be comfortable enough, so you could take a bath towel to use as a cushion. While traveling along the Carrao and Churún rivers, you will enjoy the stunning views of the lush scenery and the amazing table-top mountains. When we get close to the rapid water streams of Mayupa, you will need to get off the canoe and have a light lunch. When approaching the Angel Falls in the afternoon, you will be amazed by the power of nature and witness the water cascading one kilometer down from the top of Auyán Tepui. Afterwards, the guide will accompany you to hike through the jungle for about 90 minutes and finally get to the foot of the Angel Falls. You will spend some time visiting the rock pools near the base of the falls. At present, visitors are divided into 10 pax per group, when half of the visitors in one canoe would like to stay overnight at the camp under the Angle Falls, you will have the chance to sleep in the hammock in front of the fall, otherwise, your group will get back to the Canaima lagoon area and stay in the comfortable lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Camp or Waku Lodge
Day 4(Sat): Angel Falls back to Canaima Lagoon If you spend the night in front of the fall, when you wake up in the morning, you will enjoy the impressive views of the Angel Falls with sunlight illuminating the rocks of Auyan Tepui. After having a simple breakfast with coffee at the camp, you will have a little free time to walk around and discover animals and plants. Then take the same boat to travel down the river and get back to the lodge near Canaima Lagoon. Light lunch is offered on the way and we will arrange the dinner with local food for you. If you have already got back to the lodge yesterday, you will be guided to visit the Canaima village and go to the Canaima lagoon to swim, or do a trek to Poso Azul at an additional cost. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Waku Lodge (3 stars) or similar
Day 5(Sun): Fly from Canaima to Caracas, airport to hotel transfer Please have a good rest in the morning, and you will take the noon flight back to Caracas. Be transferred to your hotel upon arrival. Meals: Breakfast Accommodation: Hotel Olé Caribe (3 stars)
Day 6(Mon): Private Airport See-off We will arrange a private car to transfer you to Simón Bolívar International Airport based on your flight schedule. We wish you a pleasant journey and thank you for travelling with us! Meals: Breakfast
