Guilin & Paradise Yangshuo

Today comes the most enjoyable part of the trip. In the morning, we will take a cruise ship on Li River and sail to Yangshuo. On the way, we can appreciate the breathtakingly beautiful scenery along the river. As we disembark in Yangshuo, you will be escorted to check in the hotel and then led to the countryside. The rural scenery of Yangshuo is stunning. The vast paddy fields, limpid rivers, tranquil green mountains and peaceful life of the locals make us feel like in the earthly paradise and reluctant to leave. A visit to a local farmer's home will make the whole travelling experience more memorable.

According to the Yangshuo itinerary, we will leave the whole day for you to explore Yanghsuo freely. Please contact your private guide or travel consultant if you need help. In the morning, it is advisable to rent a bicycle or battery bike and ride along the Ten-Mile Gallery - a beautiful sightseeing road from downtown area to Moon Hill. It is one of the most popular outdoor activities in Yangshuo. En route, we could not only see rolling mountains, farmers farming in the endless fields, buffalos patrolling along the river bank, and the huge banyan tree, but also many scenic spots like the Butterfly Spring Park with beautiful waterfalls and springs, the Golden Water Cave - a gorgeous karst cave in which you could see colorful stalactites and try to experience mud bath, and the Moon Hill with a large round hole through its upper part, which looks like a half moon hanging in the sky.

In the afternoon, we suggest you go to the Western Street. With over 1,400 years of history, it is one of the most famous Foreigner's Streets in China. Many foreigners has been attracted by its simple and elegant environment and decided to stay here. Therefore there are many western restaurants, cafes and bars over there.

In the evening, we recommend you to enjoy a wonderful music and dance show called “Impression Sanjie Liu”, which is directed by Zhang Yimou, a well-known Chinese director. It tells the story of the fairy singer - Sanjie Liu living in folk tales of Zhuang ethnic minority. Performed on the Li River, the show takes the natural landscape as its stage background.

After breakfast, we will escort you back to Guilin to visit Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill. The first one is a world-famous karst cave with various kind of stalactites which look amazing under the changing lights.
