Sleepers on China Train - Hard Sleeper vs. Soft Sleeper, Deluxe Soft Sleeper
There are mainly three kinds of China train sleepers: hard sleepers, soft sleepers and deluxe soft sleepers. They are recommended for overnight long-distance trips. Budget travelers prefer hard sleepers for they are the cheapest among the three. Big persons or passengers who want to sleep well may buy soft sleepers for they are equipped with larger berth and better facilities. Families and friends traveling together are also recommended to take soft sleepers. Deluxe soft sleeper is the most luxurious yet the most expensive.China Train Hard Sleeper
In a hard sleeper cabin, there are six berths: one upper, one middle and one lower in both sides. The size of the berth is 190cm◊75cm. Beddings such as quilts and pillows are provided. No doors are installed between the cabin and passage, so one may not sleep well because of the noise from the passage and other cabins. What’s more, one cannot sit straight in the upper berth, but it provides the most privacy. The lower berth has the largest space but almost no privacy. Luggage racks are above the corridor outside the cabin. Passengers can also put the luggage under the lower berths.China Train Soft Sleeper
4 berths are set in a soft sleeper compartment, two lower and two upper. They are 190cm in length and 75 cm in width. A door is used to separate the cabin and the passageway, so passengers may have a good sleep during the night. Compared with hard sleeper cabins, more services are provided for passengers in soft sleepers. A luggage closet, a reading lamp, radio and temperature controls are available. Moreover, thermos is put in the table and one can use the power outlet which is under the table to recharge electrical devices. The luggage shelf is inside the cabin above the door.China Train Deluxe Soft Sleeper
There is only 2 berths with the size of 200cm◊85cm in a deluxe soft sleeper carriage: one upper and one lower. The berth is the biggest among the three kinds of sleepers, and the facilities are also the most advanced. A deluxe soft sleeper compartment is more like a little room for two people for a table, a kettle, a closet, an independent washing room, a closet and a sofa are offered. One can have a comfortable trip onboard.Hard Sleeper vs. Soft Sleeper vs. Deluxe Soft Sleeper
