Located in monsoon climate zone in South Asia, Jaipur weather is relatively hot all year round. It has three distinct seasons. Summer has the highest temperature and little rain; winter enjoys the most comfortable climate; and monsoon season has a pretty sticky weather. Generally, January has the lowest temperature of 7℃ (44.6℉), and June usually is the hottest month with the max temperature reaching up to 40℃ (104℉). November to next February have always been the peak travel months due to the comfortable weather.

Winter (November to next March)
The temperature in Jaipur in winter is mild, and it is absolutely the best season to go for a visit. Jaipur weather is pretty warm during the daytime, it is suggested to wear light shirt, pants and a pair of casual shoes. But the temperature at night is pretty low, sometimes even goed down to below 10℃ (50℉), so people also need to pack thin sweater and a coat.
Summer (April to early July)
Jaipur’s summer is extremely hot: temperature climbs to 40℃ (104℉), and there is little rain during this period. You must feel burning and thirsty if you walked on Jaipur’s street in summer. Like many other tropical regions, the ultraviolet rays is very strong. Therefore, you should better take sunscreen, gauze kerchief and parasol with you if you do not want to be burned by the sun. The temperature difference between day and night is large, make sure do not catch cold at night.
Monsoon Season (July to October)
Rainfall is concentrated in July and August, with a monthly rainfall of 230mm (9.1inch) and a cumulative rainfall time of more than ten days each month. At the same time, the ultraviolet ray in Jaipur is also the strongest of the year. If you choose to travel during the monsoon season, you must remember to take rain gear and sunscreen with you. In general, visiting Jaipur during monsoon season is not recommended.
