Day 1: Luang Prabang Arrival, Half Day Visit with Mount Phousi
Welcome to Luang Prabang, Lao's famous ancient capital and Buddhist center. Upon arrival, your professional guide and driver will meet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel. After some rest, you will be taken to Mount Phousi, the highest spot in downtown area where you could have a panoramic view of Luang Prabang old town, as well as the beautiful scenery of Mekong River and Nam Khan River. It is noteworthy that Mount Phousi is a good place to watch the sunset. If weather permits, we'll stay here until sunset. Afterwards, you may stroll in the night market and then return to the hotel on your own.

Day 2: Luang Prabang Full Day Sightseeing with the Royal Palace Museum
In the early morning, your guide will accompany you to watch the traditional Alms Giving Ceremony, which can be traced back to the 14th century. At sunrise, a huge number of monks from different temples will collect food from local citizens who kneel along the main street orderly with their offerings. After watching this unique activity, you will be sent back to the hotel to have breakfast. After that, we will proceed to Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, and the Royal Palace Museum. The Royal Palace Museum holds a lot of valuable historical relics during the Lan Xang Kingdom (1354-1707), including the priceless Prabang Buddha statue, various royal religious ornaments, as well as plenty of old paintings and historic pictures.
After a big lunch, we will head to a picturesque waterfall group, Kuang Si Falls. There are several pools under the falls. In sunny days, the sunlight dapples the sparkling pools through leaves. This enchanting scenery can definitely drive away the fatigue.

Day 3: An Excursion to the Pak Ou Caves by Cruise in Luang Prabang
Today your passionate guide will escort you to take a cruise down the Mekong River. Along the way, you will immerse yourself into the stunning natural scenery. En route, we'll first go ashore to visit Ban Xang Hai Village which is well-known for its local whiskey, Lao-Lao. Then have a stop at the Pak Ou Caves, where you will see thousands of Buddha statues. On the way back to the hotel, we will stop by Ban Xang Khong Village to watch the making process of the traditional Saa Jute Paper.

Day 4: Luang Prabang One Day Tour to Xieng Khouang
Today's itinerry will include an exploration to another beautiful city, Xieng Khouang. On the way there, you could appreciate the stunning scenery and be guided to visit some tribal villages. Upon arrival, you will be taken to the Plain of Jars, which is regarded as one of the world's unsolved mysteries. Under the company of your guide, you will appreciate Site 1, where more than 300 stone jars are widely distributed among the vast plain. However, where these stone jars came from and what they were used for are still unknown.

Day 5: Xieng Khouang Half Day Trip, Fly to Vientiane
In the morning, your guide will lead you to the Central Market to experience local residents' business life. Then, we will continue to explore Site 2 and 3 of the Plain of Jars. Relatively speaking, these two sites are better-persevered than Site 1. Besides, you may have an agreeable experience of the idyllic scenery there. UXO MAG Exhibition Room is also on today’s to-do list. Your tour guide will lead you to learn more about the local mine-clearance history.
After finishing the visit, your driver will escort you to the airport to catch the flight to Vientiane. Upon arrival, your guide in Vientiane will pick you up at the airport and help you check into the hotel.

Day 6: Vientiane Highlights with Wat Si Saket
In the morning, your guide will take you to visit Wat Si Saket where more than 10,000 Buddha statues are enshrined. The Buddha statue, made of around 4,400 pounds (2,000 kilograms) gold in the main hall, worth your attention. Then, your guide will transfer you to Wat Ho Phra Keo which works as a Sacred Art Museum. It holds diverse treasures of Laos including the king's throne, various wood carvings, as well as gold, jade and crystal Buddha statues.
Afterwards, we will visit a landmark of Laos, Pha That Luang Temple. It's said that many relics of Sakyamuni was buried under the golden stupa, thus it becomes a holy land in Buddhism. At last, we will pay a visit to Patuxai Victory Monument. The lifelike Buddha and mythological figures carved on the monument is a big highlight. You may also see colorful paintings of Buddhist mythological figures on the ceiling.

Day 7: Fly to Pakse, Pakse Half Day Tour
Today you will be escorted to the airport to catch the flight to Pakse. Your Pakse local guide will meet you at the airport and take you to Saravane directly. En route, we will stop at Tateng Village to experience the local life, as well as watch the making process of tea and coffee. Later, your guide will lead you to appreciate the enchanting sceneries of Tad Lo Waterfall. After the sightseeing, we will trek to some ethnic villages named Alak, Nge, and Katu. Afterwards, you will be sent back to the hotel.

Day 8: Pakse Day Exploration to Khong Island
After breakfast, your guide will take you to visit Wat Phu Ruins, which was originally an important Hinduism temple and then was rebuilt to be a Buddhist holy site in the 13th century. You can still imagine the prosperous past by viewing the remaining carvings and statues there. Then your guide will accompany you to go sightseeing among the 4,000 Islands Region on Mekong River by boat. Later, we will take a deep exploration of Khong Island, the biggest island of this region. For the rest of the day, you may explore this charming island on your own. You will stay overnight on the island.

Day 9: Khone Island Full Day Sightseeing with Khone Falls
After taking a morning stroll in the nearby villages, your guide will accompany you to take a long tail boat to Liphi Waterfall, which is the longest waterfall in the world, and then keep boating to Khone Falls, which claims to be the largest fall in Southeast Asia with the highest point up to 70 feet or so. It also has the largest water flow rate in the world and you can take good pictures of turbulent water rushing down rapidly. Later, we will return to the Champasak Grand Hotel.
