Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, Airport Pick-up
Welcome to Mongolia! Arriving at the arrival hall of Ulaanbaatar airport, you will see our driver waiting for you, holding a board in the hand. Later, the driver will escort you to the hotel. There is no sightseeing itinerary during the rest of the day. After settling down, you could have a good rest or take a walk around to get the first glance of this nomadic country. Day 2: Drive to Amarbayasgalant Monastery
The first escorted sightseeing stop of this Mongolia tour will be Amarbayasgalant Monastery, which is 6 hours' drive away from Ulaanbaatar. It is a serene and grand Buddhist center of Tibetan Gelugpa School located in a beautiful valley, so you can not only learn the Buddhism culture, but also appreciate scenic landscape there.

Day 3: Visit Uran Togoo Mt. Nature Reserve
In the morning, move on to Uran Togoo Mt. Nature Reserve by car. The unspoiled natural reserve features four extinct volcanoes, miles of grasslands dotted with wild flowers and clear streams, and various animals. In the afternoon, we will go to Uran extinct volcano on the western side of the reserve and settle down in a Ger camp around. The volcano is the most famous and beautiful one among the four, which is a paradise for trekking lovers. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4: Drive to Khovsgol Lake, with a Stop at Khatgal Village
After breakfast, we will set off for Khovsgol Lake. Reaching Murun, a small town in midway, make a stop for lunch and a short break. Then drive for 2 hours more to Khatgal Village on the southern tip of Khovsgol Lake. There, the guide will show you around the local bazaar, where you can see herds of livestock. Also, seize the chance to experience the life and traditions of local reindeer herders. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5: Full Day at Khovsgol Lake National Park
We will spend this whole day touring around the Khovsgol Lake. It is the largest freshwater lake in Mongolia, containing 2% of the world's fresh water. Reputed as the "blue pearl of Mongolia", the lake is surrounded with craggy peaks covered with pine forests. In the morning, the guide will accompany you to travel around by horse. In the afternoon, you will be free to explore the area on your own. You may take a leisurely stroll around the lake or hike to one of the surrounding mountains. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6: Proceed to Jargalant Hot Springs
Today’s destination, Jargalant Hot Springs, is 6 hours’ drive away in Khangai Province. But the scenic grassland scenery on the way will not make the trip boring. Upon arrival, unpack and settle down in the clean ger camp, then the rest of the day will be at your own disposal. You may take a cozy bath in the hot springs. The natural mineral springs emerging from the deep ground at 70 celsius degrees is very good for health, especially for skin and bones. Or you may go for a short walk to the nearby mountains and forests.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 7: Terkh White Lake National Park
After breakfast, we will drive 2.5 hours to Terkh White Lake. The lake is surrounded by Khorgo Extinct Volcano and is one of the most scenic destinations for trekking in Mongolia, as well as wildlife spotting and fishing. After checking into the ger camp there, you could arrange some pleasant activities based on your preference. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 8: Visit Khorgo Extinct Volcano, Taikhar Chuluu and a Nomadic Family
In the morning, continue to visit the Khorgo Extinct Volcano, one of the famous extinct volcanoes in Mongolia which formed by an eruption 9,000 years ago. The volcano is about 2,240 meters (7,349 feet) high and covered with strange basalt rocks and small copses of trees. The guide will lead you all the way to its crater. After, pay a visit to Taikar Chuluu. It is a 20-meter-high granite rock located in the middle of a vast flatland, with a history of 1,500 years. About 150 writings were carved in different times and languages from its top to the bottom. At the end of the day, we will visit a local herder’s family and experience their lifestyle.

Day 9: Drive to Karakorum and Erdene Zuu Monastery, Continue to Bayan Gobi
Today we will visit the first UNESCO world cultural heritage of Mongolia, including Karakorum and Erdene Zuu Monastery. Karakorum was the ancient capital of Genghis Khan and once a world-class metropolis influencing Asia and Europe. Sadly, it was severely damaged by the war. Erdene Zuu Monastery was built next to the ancient city of Karakorum. It is the first Buddhist monastery in Mongolia established in 1586 and one of the state's most important architectural heritage sites. Then we will depart for Bayan Gobi, also known as Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes. There are endless sand dunes, impressive mountain ranges, and oases with green bushes. Later, pay a visit to a camel herder's family to know more about Mongolian nomadic culture. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 10: Hustai National Park (Wild Horse Park)
Coming to Mongolia, how can you not intimate with horses? Today, the guide will accompany you to Hustai National Park, aka Wild Horse Park. As the name indicates, it is the home to endangered takhi horses, which are world’s only living pure wild horses. Besides, Hustai is the habitat of many other rare animals such as boars, roe deer, grey wolves, Pallas cats, Mongolian marmots, and golden eagles. Getting there, we will first go to the information center to get an insight of these wild animals, then trek into their habitats and observe them on foot. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 11: Ulaanbaatar City Highlights
After breakfast, we will drive 3 hours back to Ulaanbaatar and visit some of its top attractions. The first one will be the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Mongolia, Gandan Buddhist Monastery. Inside the monastery, there is a 26.5-meter-high copper statue of Megjid Janraiseg, a bodhisattva represents compassion, which is also the world's tallest indoor statue. The second one will be the Sukhbaatar Square situated at the city center. Important ceremonies and festivals are usually held there. In front of the square is the Mongolia Parliament House and in the center, the Bronze Statue of Genghis Khan is set. Later, the guide will lead you to the Museum of Mongolian National History and Bogd Khan Palace Museum, the winter palace of the eighth Jebtsundamba Khutughtu, the state's religious head who later become the Bogd Khan or the last emperor of Mongolia. In the evening, appreciate an excellent Mongolian music and dance show. The unique Mongolian throat singing is also included in the show. After dinner, you will be sent to the hotel.
