Day 2: Yangon highlights with the Shwedagon Pagoda
After breakfast, you will first be guided to visit the Sule Pagoda, which is located in the center of the city, with a history of around 2600 years. Afterwards, your guide will take you to visit the Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, which enshrines the largest reclining Buddha of Myanmar. In the afternoon, with the company of your guide, you will stroll around the Indian Town and China Town to experience the local life. Day 3: Fly to Heho, Cruise trip on the Inle Lake
Today, you will be transferred to the airport and take a flight to Heho. Upon arrival, your local guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the Inle Lake. After settling in the hotel for a short rest, you will start your cruise trip on the Inle Lake. Along the way, you will visit the Hpaung Daw U Pagoda, the Nga Phe Chaung Monastery and the Nam Pan Village. In the Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, you will enjoy a nice show of the little cats jumping through the hoops. Therefore, the Monastery is also well-known as the Jumping Cat Monastery. In the Nam Pan Village, you will visit the Floating Gardens. With the explanation of your guide, you will know how clever the locals are to use the floating fields to grow products. Day 4: Inle Lake full day sightseeing with cruise
After breakfast, your guide will escort you to hang out in the Five Days Market, which is the most popular local market held by the local Shan and Intha ethnics, as well as the Pa-O villagers from the nearby hills around Inle Lake. Later, you will take a boat through the narrow cannels to visit the deserted Indein Village and the Temple of Indein. Day 6: Full day Bagan trip with the Nyaung U Market
After breakfast, we will set out for the Nyaung U Market, where you will find out how the local people make the yellow face powder. Then your Bagan temples tour starts and your guide will take you to explore Shwezigon Paya, Htilominlo Pahto, Nat Taung Kyaung Monastery and Shwesandaw Pagoda. Day 8: Take a cruise to Mandalay, stop at Pakkoku
Your 5 days Irrawaddy River cruise tour will begin today. At around noon, your guide will escort you to board a luxurious Anawrahta cruise ship to Pakkoku. Along the way, you will catch sight of the Pakokku Bridge, which is the longest bridge in Myanmar. After disembarking in Pakkoku, you will be accompanied to visit a cheroot-rolling factory, a producer of 'Burmese slippers' and the Shwegu Temple. Upon arrival, you will be led to admire the historical relics of Ava by horse-drawn carriage, including Bagaya Kyaung, Maha Aung Mye Bonzan Monastery, and Nanmyint watch tower. After that, we will continue our Irrawaddy River cruise to Mandalay and observe the Sagaing Hill from the ship. The ship will dock at Mandalay Pier. We will disembark to visit a silk-weaving manufacturer and then enjoy the charming sunset view at the U Bein Bridge. Return to the ship at the end of the day to have a good rest. Day 11: Mandalay highlights
After breakfast, we will go ashore to explore more about Mandalay. With the company of your guide, you will stop at a few Buddhist sites, including Kuthodaw Pagoda & the World's Largest Book, Mahamuni Pagoda and Shwenandaw Monastery. After that, get back to the ship and we will cruise to the ancient Mingun City, which is the former capital of Konbaung Dynasty (1752 – 1885). The guide will take you to visit the Pahtodawgyi Pagoda, the Mingun Bell as well as the Hsinbyume Pagoda. After finishing the visit, the ship will sail back to Mandalay.
