Peru and Bolivia Tour

In the morning the guide will escort you to visit the historical architecture of Lima including San Martin Plaza, Plaza de Armas, and Monastery of San Francisco. Then continue to visit Larco Museum. The lunch is on your own.

After, transfer you to the airport for 1.5-hour flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, the local guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

During today's Peru and Bolivia tour, we are going to visit the Inca historical site, Sacsayhuaman to appreciate the stone wall, the ceremonial center Temple of the Moon and the Water Temple Tambomachay.

After, drive to Ollantaytambo to have self-paid lunch. The guide will be glad to recommend some restaurants based on your preference. After lunch, transfer you to Ollantaytambo Railway Station for you to take 1.5-hour train to Aguas Calientes - the town of Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, the hotel staff will pick you up at the station and lead you to the nearby hotel on foot.

The guide will pick you up from the hotel at appointed time and then accompany you to walk to the nearby bus station. Then take the bus for 30 minutes to visit Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. As the biggest Inca Empire historical site, it is also listed in the World Heritage List. The visit will last for about 2 hours. After, the guide will say goodbye and you may then walk to the sacred Huayna Picchu to overlook the Machu Picchu by yourself. Lunch is on your own, and you can prepare some snacks beforehand for lunch. After the visit, go back to the bus station to take the bus to Aguas Calientes and then walk to the hotel. The guide will tell you where to take the returning bus leaving.

In the morning please walk to the train station to take the train we will book for you in advance to go back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, the guide and the driver will pick you up at the station and lead you to visit the village with Inca historical remains. While walking on the traditional street, you would feel like in Inca Empire. After, drive across the scenic Sacred Valley to Urubamba village to have self-service lunch.

After lunch, we'll take the car to admire the Maras Salt Mines. Then head to Moray to visit the Inca remains, concentric terraces. After the visit check in the hotel nearby the Urubamba village.

On the 6th day of the Peru Bolivia tour we'll drive to Chinchero. Upon arrival, go to the main square to visit the well-preserved Inca Walls and the appealing Colonial Church. Then go to a textile center to learn the weaving skills passed down one generation after another from the local artisans. Next, drive for 30 kilometers back to Cusco, taking about 40 minutes. Check in the hotel. The lunch is at your own expense.

After lunch, the guide will escort you to stroll on the main square Plaza de Armas and appreciate the outside of Cathedral of Cusco. Then walk through the Inca Street, to visit the Qorikancha the Temple of Sun, which shows both Inca culture and Spanish colonial culture.

Today we'll send you to the airport for flight to La Paz. Upon arrival, our driver and the guide based there will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free. You can take a rest at the hotel to get adapted to the high altitude.

Today we'll drive to Basilica de San Francisco, a characteristic church, and then visit Museo de Metales Preciosos which displays Bolivian handicrafts before the colony of Spanish and metal wares of Tiwanaku culture before Inca Empire. Then head to Plaza Murillo to appreciate the presidential building of Bolivia, Palacio de Quemado from outside. After, go to Mirador Killi Killi by cable car where you can overlook the whole city. Finally we'll go to visit Witches' Market selling fantastic items before sending you back to the hotel.

In the morning, the driver will pick you up at the hotel after breakfast and transfer you to La Paz Airport to take the flight to Uyuni. The flight will take about 50 minutes. The guide and the driver there will be waiting for you. After picking you up, drive for about 15 minutes to visit Train Cemetery. You can see the old trains scattering there casually. Then continue driving for 30 minutes to Colchani Village where you can buy handicrafts made of salt. Next go to Salt Museum. After the visit, head to Isla Incahuasi in the center of the salt fields. It is also called Island of cactus since a lot of cactus grow here. Next, drive for about 1 hour and 45 minutes to the hotel.

After breakfast, the driver and the guide will pick you up at the hotel and drive for 200 km (124 mi) to Chiguana Desert to the north of Uyuni salt flats, taking 3 hours and 30 minutes. We'll first visit the Volcano Ollague and then head to the beautiful Andean lagoons where three kinds of Andean flamingos live. Then drive for about 180 km (112 mi) to the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve which will take 3 hours and 40 minutes. Here, we will visit the world's driest and highest Siloli Desert, and take photos by the side of the lava rock, Rock Tree. Later, stop at the Laguna Colorada (Red Lagoon) to see the pink flamingos and the red lake. At last, check in the hotel for a good rest.

Today we need to leave the hotel early to visit Sol de Mañana Geyser. Pack the breakfast before leaving. The 150-kilometer journey may take about 2-2.5 hours. After arriving at Sol de Mañana Geyser, take a walk around the geyser, enjoy the packed breakfast and appreciate the sunrise. Then head to the open-air hot spring to take a bath. Next, continue driving for 50 minutes to visit Salvador Dali Desert and you will see the Laguna Verde (Green Lagoon) here. After the visit, check in the hotel in Uyuni. It takes about 6 hours to finish the 350-kilometer (217 mi) journey.

Today our driver will transfer you to Uyuni Airport for you to take the flight back to La Paz. On arrival, our driver and the guide will escort you to Tiwanaku Ruins, taking 1-1.5 hours. Listed in the World Heritage by UNESCO, the architecture, statures, roads and the rule and arrangement of the empire had influenced Inco civilization a lot.
