What to Pack for Your Turkey Trip in April

Turkey April Clothes
For travelers heading to the southern and southwestern regions of Turkey, dressing in short sleeves or long skirts during midday is perfectly suitable. However, due to the cooler climate in the mornings and evenings, it is advisable to pack a trench coat to protect against cool sea breeze.

In other parts of the country, the temperature fluctuation between day and night is big, thus you need a more diverse range of clothing. Inner layers such as short-sleeved t-shirts, long-sleeved t-shirts, hoodies, thin sweaters, and long skirts are good choices. For outerwear, options include outdoor jacket, denim jacket, leather jacket, trench coat, or tweed coat.

Furthermore, if a hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia is a part of your itinerary, a lightweight down jacket should come in handy to protect you from the chilly morning temperatures. And ladies would better wear pants because it’s more convenient to get in and out.

Long pants like jeans and cargo pants are more suitable for this season. A pair of breathable and comfortable shoes can help you adapt well to the varied terrain of Turkey. You also need to pack an umbrella, as April often has occasional showers.
