09:00 Drive to Terracotta Warriors
The Terracotta Warriors is about 40 kilometers (25 miles) from downtown Xian. We will go there directly via highway and won’t spend any time for shopping like other tours. It will take approximately an hour to get there.
10:00 Visit Terracotta Warriors Museum
Terracotta Warriors Museum is the largest underground military museum in China. It was built as the Emperor Qinshihuang’s mausoleum and there are 3 main unearthed pits at present. Walking into the museum, you will marvel at this underground army standing in gallant array, complete with amour and weapons, just ready for a combat. At this very moment, you could feel the ambitions of this great emperor who found the first unified, centralized dynasty in ancient China, and played an important role in constructing the Great Wall.

All the clay warriors and horses as well as bronze chariots were sculptured in detail according to the reality of that time. We can distinguish soldiers and chiefs from their expressions, gestures, uniforms and accessories.
