08: 00 Hotel Pick-up
We will contact you to confirm your pick-up time one night before. On the morning of the traveling day, our professional guide and experienced driver will pick you up at your hotel. Here your Xian day tour begins!

09:00 Drive to Terracotta Warriors
The Terracotta Warriors is about 40 kilometers (25 miles) from downtown Xian. We will go there directly via highway and won’t spend any time for shopping like other tours. It will take approximately an hour to get there.

10:00 Visit Terracotta Warriors Museum
Terracotta Warriors Museum is the largest underground military museum in China. It was built as the Emperor Qinshihuang’s mausoleum and there are 3 main unearthed pits at present. Walking into the museum, you will marvel at this underground army standing in gallant array, complete with amour and weapons, just ready for a combat. At this very moment, you could feel the ambitions of this great emperor who found the first unified, centralized dynasty in ancient China, and played an important role in constructing the Great Wall.
All the clay warriors and horses as well as bronze chariots were sculptured in detail according to the reality of that time. We can distinguish soldiers and chiefs from their expressions, gestures, uniforms and accessories.

13:00 Free Time for Lunch
Lunch is not included in the tour price. Most of the restaurants around the museum are expensive and not good enough. We kindly suggest you to have lunch at fast-food chains like Subway and our guide will help you find them.

13:40 Drive Back to Downtown Xi'an
After lunch, we will take the highway directly back to downtown area and you could take a good rest on the way before continuing our visit to Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xi’an City Wall.

14:40 Visit Small Wild Goose Pagoda & Xi'an Museum
With a history of more than 1,300 years, Small Wild Goose Pagoda was used to store the Buddhist scriptures delivered from ancient India. It is also one of the important landmarks witnessing the process that how Buddhism was introduced to China and combined with Chinese culture. Currently there are 13 storeys left as the top two storeys were destroyed in earthquakes. Then we will continue to Xi'an Museum, where about 130,000 precious cultural relics are preserved.
Note: The Small Wild Goose Pagoda does not open on Tuesdays. If your travel date happens to meet this day, we will replace it with the Site Museum of Xi'an Tang City Wall and arrange the visit after the City Wall.

16:00 Visit Xi'an City Wall
It is the largest and most intact ancient city wall in China. The current part was built in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) which is about 13.7 kilometers (8.5 miles) long and 12-14 meters (13 - 15 yards) wide. After ascending it with our guide, you can rent a bike to cycle on it while appreciating the city landscape.

17:30 Muslim Bazaar and Hotel Drop-off
Next to the Bell Tower and Drum Tower, Muslim Bazaar is the most prosperous food street in Xian survived from ancient times. There are nearly 300 kinds of specialties along the streets. You can learn about its history through those delicious food and bargain for a souvenir at featured stores. The night view in and around Muslim Bazaar is also wonderful and enjoyable. Afterwards, our driver will drop you off at your hotel. If you want to stay there longer, our guide will show you the way back to your hotel.
