Day 1: Arrival in Lima, Airport pick-up

Day 2: Lima classical city tour, Take a flight to Cusco
Today, we are going to visit 4 attractions in Lima: San Martin Plaza, Plaza de Armas, Monastery of San Francisco, and Larco Museum. San Martin Plaza, near Plaza de Armas, is named after the father of the liberation of South America. In the middle of the square stands a statue of General San Martin with a prancing horse. Then we will go to Plaza de Armas, which is located in the old city and is the spiritual and cultural center of Lima. There are many Spanish colonial buildings on the square. The Baroque architecture of Monastery of San Francisco is located northeast of Plaza de Armas, and its granite carvings had a profound influence on the construction of other churches. It was listed as a World Heritage site in 1991. The monastery's library is world-famous for its thousands of ancient texts. Discovered in 1943, the catacombs of this church contain thousands of skulls and is totally worth visiting. Finally, we will visit Larco Museum to appreciate numerous fine collections. After that, we will send you to the airport to take a flight to Cusco. Upon your arrival, we will pick you up and send you to the hotel. Meals: Breakfast

Day 3: Tour in Sacred Valley, Take train to Aguas Calientes
Today's schedule is very full. Firstly, we will take a car to the home of Peruvian weaving, Chinchero. After arriving, we will visit Inca Walls and Colonial Church on the main square. Next, we will go to a local textile center to learn textile skills from artisans. Driving through the hills, we will get to Moray terraces and Maras Salt Mines. After visiting these spots, we plan to drive through Sacred Valley to Ollantaytambo, where you will arrange lunch on your own with the guide's assistance. After lunch, we will send you to Ollantaytambo Railway station to take a train for 1.5 hours to Aguas Calientes, the town of Machu Picchu. Our hotel staff will meet you at the station and accompany you to walk to the hotel near the railway station. Meals: Breakfast

Day 4: Enjoy Machu Picchu tour, Take train back to Ollantaytambo
We will mainly enjoy Machu Picchu today. Our guide will accompany you to take a bus for 30 minutes from the nearby bus station to Machu Picchu. As one of Seven Wonders in the World and the largest Inca relics, it is a must-visit place. It might take us over 2 hours to travel around. Afterward, we will take a bus back to Aguas Calientes. You will enjoy lunch here on your own and the guide will say goodbye to you. After lunch, you will get to the train station to take a train back to Ollantaytambo. Our local guide and driver will wait for you at the station and send you to the hotel near Urubamba Village. Meals: Breakfast

Day 5: Excursion to Pisac, Drive back to Cusco
In the morning, we will have a 50-minute drive to Pisac. After visiting Pisac Archaeological Park, we will go to the local market, where you can buy delicate souvenirs and specialties for your family. Later, we will return to Cusco and stopover at Awanacancha, a weaving center. We will also have chances to see unique alpaca, llama and guanaco. Meals: Breakfast

Day 6: Full day Cusco tour
In the morning, we will walk around Plaza de Armas and visit the imposing Cusco Cathedral. It is the first Christian church in Cusco. Then we will walk through Inca streets to see Qorikancha (the Temple of Sun). Afterwards, we will drive to Sacsayhuaman to appreciate stunning stone walls remains. Walk to Temple of the Moon, and then go to the last stop of today, Water Temple Tambomachay. Meals: Breakfast

You are going to have a shared bus tour to Puno today, which takes about 10 hours for the 386 km (240 mi) journey. On the way, the bus will stop at Andahuaylilas and visit San Pedro Chapel with Catholic and Andean styles. Then continue to drive to Raqchi to visit Inca Temple, which is dedicated to the creator god Wiracocha. Enjoy a buffet lunch at Sicuani town. Then the bus will drive to 4,335 meters (14,222 ft.) high La Raya to overlook beautiful snow mountains and see llamas and alpacas. Finally, we will stay at Pucara to visit some Inca heritages. Day 8: Trip to Floating Islands and Taquile Islands
Today's arrangement of the best Peru tours is to take a motorboat to visit some islands. Our guide and the driver will send you to the pier on time and you will go to amazing Uros Island with the guide to explore locals' lives. Uros Islands are also called Floating Islands because they are made up of floating reeds. Then we will take a motorboat for 3 hours to Taquile Island, where you can have a family visit with a simple lunch. At the end of the day, we will return to the pier and send you to the hotel.
