Is there a dress code for entering churches or cathedrals in Italy?
There are so many churches in Italy, it is suggested to cover your shoulders and knees when visiting the churches and the Vatican Museums. To enter St Peter's Basilica, there is also a dress check, bare shoulders and legs are not allowed to get in, while skirts and short trousers reaching the knees are ok.

Will there be a language barrier when travelling in Italy?
You can travel in Italy without speaking Italian, but it is recommended to learn a few words and phrases, which will help you a lot. Most Italian people can speak at least basic English and signs are translated into English.
How to order coffee in Italy?
You could buy coffee at bars, caffetterias or most of the restaurants. All the coffee is espresso based, a single shot of espresso is called caffè normale.
Things to know: if you would like to have Latte, you need to order Caffè Latte, only saying Latte, you will get hot milk, and they don't add flavors in their caffè lattes like Starbucks; Caffè lungo (long espresso) is almost like Americano; Cappuccinos are only served before 11:30am for breakfast.
Can I visit Colosseum Underground by myself?
The Colosseum does not allow any company to conduct private visits to the Underground areas. Therefore, you have to join in a group tour.
