Nara Weather in July

Season: Summer
In Short: Hot and muggy, plum rainy season

The weather in July is pretty hot and muggy. The temperature keeps increasing and in late month, the temperature often exceeds 30°C (86°F). Because it’s in the plum rainy season, the air is humid and the sweat can’t evaporate from the body at once, making people feel uncomfortable, so breathable clothes are necessary. Umbrella is also a must while traveling in Nara in this month. In addition, sun cream or parasol are also necessary to prevent getting sunburn from the scorching sun when the sun is out somedays.
