Hyderabad weather has duel weather conditions like tropical and steppe climate. This capital city of Telangana has decent weather throughout the year with slightly warm climate and a minor drop in Hyderabad temperature during the winter season. Hyderabad does not receive much rainfall due to weak movement monsoon from the southwestern region. Hyderabad is divided into three seasons: winter, summer and monsoon season.
In summer, Hyderabad weather is sweltering and can rise up to 45℃ (113℉) in May, thus making it the hottest month in Hyderabad. December is the coldest month, with an average temperature of 20℃ (68℉). Monsoon season starts by the end of July and remains till early October with an average of 810mm of rain. Whereas from November to February, Hyderabad climate remains pleasant and calm juggling between 14 - 22 ℃ (15.20 – 71.60℉) and makes the perfect time to visit Hyderabad.

Hyderabad weather remains pleasant and cold from November till February where temperature ranging between 14 to 22℃ (15.20 to 71.60℉) and perfect climatic conditions to explore this beautiful and royal city. Since it is not that cold unlike most of the northern parts of India, light cotton shirts, denim, Jackets (only for night travel), shrugs are advisable clothes to wear in Hyderabad. Charminar (4.4/5 star), Ramoji Film City (4.4/5 star), Golconda Fort (4.4/5 star), Hussain Sagar Lake (4.3/5 star), Birla Mandir (4.6/5 star) are must-visit places.
Tip: Distance between the city and the international airport is 24 km (14 miles). This IT hub consists of traffic in peak hours from 9 am till 10 pm (Monday to Friday). Plan your travel during your arrival and departure accordingly.
Due to scorching heat in Hyderabad, some of the best places to visit are Wonderla (4.5/5 star), Hyderabad Zoo (4.2/5 star) and boat ride in Hussain Sagar Lake (4/5 star).
Tip: Keep yourself hydrated and carry plenty of water, though one can find regular stalls selling sugarcane juice. Sunstroke is the most common illness during the summer.
Ananthagiri Hills (4/5 star), Golconda fort (4.4/5 star), Pocharam Dam (4/5 star) and Sanctuary are the most scenic place one must visit during monsoon.
Tip: Though less rainy than other places, it is still advisable to prepare an umbrella. What’s more, using local transport in Hyderabad can be reasonably expensive as auto rikshaws slightly overcharge.
