Winter (October to January)

Goa weather ranges from 28 to 32 (82.4 to 89.6) in Winter. Tourists can try activities from sunbathing to clubbing, partying, weekday shopping in flea markets to cycling, and exploring national heritage sites. After bidding adieu to wet Monsoon and scorching heat of summer is miles away, there are lots to explore in this season from trekking, water activities, visiting UNESCO heritage, sunbathing on a beach, clubbing, etc. And to match this lively atmosphere, cotton shorts, linen shirts, tank tops, floral dresses, long maxis, jumpers in the day and party wear like skirts, denim, etc. at night are the best clothes to wear in Goa. Mirrored sunglasses and sunscreen are the best to go with these comfy attires.


Summer (February to May)
Temperature reaches the peak level in May and June. In the day, you can visit some indoor attractions and go outside in the early morning and at night. Sunscreen is one of the most important necessities for you to travel in summer, and you should better take other sun-protective products like sunhat, parasol and so on. In general, it is not very recommended to travel there during this period.Gujarat weather is too hot and dry in summer. On an average, Gujarat temperature at daytime is 41℃ (105℉) in summer and 29℃ (85℉) at night. This arid weather in Gujarat creates difficulties for tourist to travel around the state. Still, as the state has full of climate diversity, you can visit Saputara, Bhavnagar, Patan, Marine National Park, Palitana, Diu, Thol Lake bird sanctuary in summer. In summer, you must keep your sunglasses and plenty of napkins with you. Also, while travelling, avoid wearing full sleeves and skin-tight clothes. Cotton made clothes, shorts, spaghetti, knee-length cotton dresses, loose shirts are the best clothes to wear in Gujarat during summer. Travel tip for summer is that always carry water cooler bag with you.From February to May, temperature rises up to 40 (104) in day considered to be the hottest time of the year with a scorching hot and humid climate. In this season, one would find a considerably low tourist crowd. However, travellers can taste from fresh coconut water to chilled beers, paying a cheaper fare to explore the state, spending romantic evening time with your beloved on the shack, sipping various cold beverages, and making a beeline on the beach on an early morning for vitamin D. Water activities like parasailing, scuba diving, water skiing, boat rides, sunbathing and many more also worth a try. Cotton dresses would be advisable clothes to wear in Goa during this season, and sunscreen and sunglasses will be a lifesaver.


Monsoon Season (June to September)
Average rainfall in Gujarat varies throughout the state. Day temperature in monsoon decreases to June to September is the monsoon time with frequent rainfalls, causing high tides in the sea with a temperature between 28 and 30.3 (82.4 to 86.54). This season can be a bit of disappointment as all the water activities would be shut down during Monsoon.

But there are certain advantages of visiting Goa during this season like cheaper airfares, no crowds, greenery everywhere, clean water along the beaches. This season is exceptional for all the nature lovers from visiting wildlife sanctuary, freshwater river rafting and trekking to waterfall. Due to heavy rainfall, its rainwear is a must and it only an average of 4 hours of sunshine. However, the evening climate is moderate. Comfy clothes like shorts, tanks, cotton dresses can be best-fitted clothes in this season. in the night. Few times rain causes a flood-like situation in some cities. While desertic areas remain dry most of the time, in monsoon, you can visit the Statue of Unity, Gira Waterfalls, Dandi Beach, Wilson Hills, Taranga Jain Temple, Parnera, Valsad, Saputara, etc. While travelling, avoid wearing floor touch dresses. It is more recommended to wear dresses that can dry quickly after becoming wet, such as silk, synthetic and semi cotton clothes. You can wear dark colour pants of 3/4th length, t-shirts, skirts. Also, keep rubber sandals and flip-flops with you.
