Safari: In general, safari clothing should be comfortable. During the daytime, a tank top with a thin shirt or sun protection clothes are recommended. Or you can wear only a thin breathable long-sleeved shirt. At night, a thicker hoodie or a windproof coat are necessary. Thin long trousers are the best choice the whole day, as they can protect you from both burning sun, coldness and insects’ bites. Take as many as disposable tank tops and underwear because it is inconvenient to wash them. Comfortable walking shoes or hiking shoes are essential. Slippers are highly advisable during off-road safaris as they are easier to take off when you want to stand on the seat and observe animals. Sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat can shade you from the sun. Don’t forget to bring insect repellent.Tips: Earthy colors are the best choices as they can reduce animals’ sense of defensiveness. Black and dark blue should be avoid because they are most attractive to tsetse flies.

1. Lake Natron
During the dry season, Lake Natron dries up and algae bloom, making it possible for the lake to turn red and flamingos living on algae to grow redder. In addition, flamingos here are in their breeding season in September. Given the above, the lake is even more magnificent at this time. Both the south coast and the west coast can be great bird-watching spots. The west one is less visited and beautiful at sunset. In addition to seeing flamingos, you can also hike along the riverbank and climb the Ol Doinyo Lengai to see the red lava.
