1. St. Luke Church (4.3/5 stars)
This church was built in the 19th century and has its first mention in the travelogue of British soldier. The soldier described this Church as the most beautiful church in an entire north India. It is a narrow lane close to Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib which marks the residence of King Fateh Chand Maini in the 17th century. The childless Queen was fond of young Guru Govind Singh. He used to come here to sit with Queen, giving her immeasurable happiness and spiritual solace. The gurudwara serve boiled and salted gram as a consecrated food as Queen used to feed the same to young Govind and his playmates on their demand. The Gurudwara has wood carving from the 17th century on the old front door. Remaining buildings have been reconstructed during recent decades.
