1. Anjozorobe Angavo Protected Area
Located 90 kilometers (56 miles) away from Antananarivo, Anjozorobe Angavo Protected Area is a non-touristy nature reserve. Visiting it in July is perfect if you don’t like jostling in crowds in other nature reserves. Walking through the steep trails inside the forests, you will be standing on the same land with the special black Indri, the largest variation of lemur. The reserve also accommodates bamboo lemurs and dark-colored diademed sifakas, which are difficult to get close to, but from another point of view, it means that you can see their real living condition. Besides, there are 40 kinds of reptiles and amphibians here, and you need to try hard to find out those chameleons in the jungle.
