Bottoms & Shoes: Long skirts and thin jeans are both great options. To have a better visiting experience, it’s recommended that you wear light shoes, such as sneakers.

Prime Minister’s Palace:

The palace makes sure your visiting will not be destroyed by sudden rainfall in February since it mainly requires indoor visiting. It is situated on a hill and built for prime minister Rainilaiarivony in 1872 by a French architect. The Prime Minister’s Palace has a masonry structure and four towers with metal pinnacles, which match well in one building. Suffered from a fire in 1976, now it has been transformed into the Madagascar History Museum. Some belongings to royal families are preserved here.

The Art and Archaeology Museum of the University of Antananarivo:

It’s convenient to visit the Art and Archaeology Museum even when the rain falls because of its easy access location. It displays more than 6,000 pieces of collections selected from all over Madagascar. You can see lots of paintings or porcelain in the exhibitions, and most of them are of European style. There are complicated patterns on the plates and vivid oil paintings. Additionally, it’s also easy to find the national folk art of Madagascar. It’s a great place for visitors to learn about the art and creations of Madagascar people.
 

Croc Farm:

Croc Farm’s 15-minute driving distance from the Antananarivo Airport makes it easy to reach even in rainy season. The Croc Farm is the only business farm in Madagascar that is allowed to raise and sell crocodiles. The farm owns Madagascar crocodile, which is one of the biggest crocodile species in the world – Madagascar crocodile, which can grow up to 7 meters (23 feet) long. Except for crocodiles, the farm also raises chameleons, giant turtles, and colorful tropical birds. You are even allowed to feed them.
